DC Dolls have been creating a buzz in Dublin's music scene for a couple of years now. With battle of the bands, a slot at Electric Picnic festival, a debut EP featuring songs about prominent figures in feminist history and a fierce sense of community, it was only inevitable that the Irish punk rockers would start making waves. Musician Haich Ber Na released his debut album The Everyday last year, a gritty yet loving portait of life in his hometown of Peterborough, UK, that earned him nods from punk godfather Iggy Pop on his BBC 6 Music show. He's also been featured on the FIFA 23 soundtrack and collaborated with artists like Paris Texas. In the runup to releasing his next EP, Music For Making Friends, Haich dropped by the Yellow Brit Road to talk new music, collaborations, cinematic albums, transcending genre, correspondence from camp Iggy and his latest single, Have You Given Up?
