This week on the Yellow Brit Road, we've been testing the very limits of what's possible (and permissible) on radio! It's only healthy to keep radio on its feet every now and then... with great music!

We explored a tiny little village in Austria soon to undergo a name change on account of people stealing their signposts... now look, technically, this episode is not explicit by all definitions of what it means for a show to be explicit. However, if you'd rather your children not know that there's the coolest little village in Austria called Fucking, you might want them to sit this one out (or at least, one section of the show). It's finally here! I sat down for a full-length interview with Montreal-based punk band, Super Punk, whose debut album Kim Jong Goes To Cégep is out now! The band talked to me about the album, their origin and plans to take over as the best punk band in the world... and going beyond just being a punk band, to being a Super Punk band.

Montreal-based punk band Super Punk dropped by the CFRC hideout to talk to us about their new debut album, Kim Jong goes to CEGEP. We had music old and new; one of the best alternative bands in the world, Velvet Underground on this week, 7-year-old Welsh singer and guitarist Arianwen, Czech-label-Italian "weird" rock trio Julinko, a new single from the Kaiser Freaks Kaiser Chiefs, London based Hey Colossus and pianist Duval Timothy!

This week's submission was in from Fareham, UK, courtesy rock and roll band The Straights. Keep an eye out for them, they're gonna be big!

Masala chai this week was sipped in the thrilling company of Kingston-based The Astros, Toronto hard rockers PONY and Eiffel frontman Romain Humeau.

We had old-new music from the Rolling Stones, aided by Mick Jagger having some extra time on his hands to dig through the archives to find a lost cassette of a recording the band did with Jimmy Page, which manifested itself into a new release!

We also paid tribute to Tim Smith of Cardiacs. RIP.

This week's new music was from Dry Cleaning, The Hipshakes, Problem Patterns, Abjects, and a vivid poetry performance from spoken word artist George the Poet.

We surveyed the Two-Tone movement of the 80's, listened to the Specials, and had a new Gorillaz tune!
