This week the Yellow Brit Road had fantastic new music as always! We discussed radio awards, had brand new releases, and, reflecting current situation, had music by artists currently raising money to help Ukrainian relief operations. Each February since 2013 has seen the celebration of Dydd Miwsig Cymru or the Wales music day, since radio DJ and broadcaster Huw Stephens began the celebration 9 years ago. Here on the Yellow Brit Road, we took the opportunity to indulge in our favourite new Cymraeg releases on this week's show! That, plus almost-intriguing-vaguely-anodyne chat; call this show your safe space and hop on to hear new music from:

It's album listening party night on the Yellow Brit Road! This month, we're listening to revolutionary Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers' 1994 third studio album, The Holy Bible. A brutal and breathtaking collection of ideas, poetry, literature and revolution, it is today regarded as one of the best albums of the 1990s, and one of the Manics' own finest, and an album that kicked off the Cool Cymru scene in mid-late 90s Britain.
Grab your copy of the album and listen along, and tune back in next week for the best new British releases!

On this week's fun and happening show, we had splendid new releases, some rush up in the charts, the history of headphones, and the Olympics! The 80s also got mentioned a lot, for some reason. A stellar setlist for this week included

What, I implore you, listeners, *didn't* happen this week? I tried on this week's show to cover the events of The Week That Everything Happened: from the chart battles, to the press spats, changes coming in the music industry and more (what is this, the 1990s!?) Of course, all of that was supplanted by a flood of excellent new releases, from

This week on the Yellow Brit Road, we had a tribute to the larger-than-life "comedian, chameleon, Corinthian and caricature" David Bowie, from a punk legend; we had a flurry of new year announcements and releases, including from our own station, which enters its 100th year; and a submission from a post punk legend. What's not to look forward to? We had
