We're looking back at 4 months of hearts racing, crowds singing, friendships formed, memories created, ordinary people turning into heroes and gods for 45 minutes.

Jeremy Gaudet, singer, guitarist, lyricist and songwriter in the rising Toronto-based indie rock band Kiwi jr. joins me for an interview as the band release their third studio album, Chopper! A departure from their previous janglepop sound, this album is darker, grittier, more cinematic and ambitious. We talk all about the record, out now on Sub Pop Records, and about the band's journey so far, about songwriting, recording, touring, influences and a lot more.

Here's the full, unabridged interview with the hosts of the Desi LGBT Fest, an online festival celebrating and spotlighting queer voices, expression, experiences, art, activism, and media created by and about members of the desi queer community. We discussed queerness in South Asia, expression, progress and of course, favourite queer media, art and literature.
