The title says it all
This weeks episode is anything but foreign and exotic as we take a look at stereotypes, sexualization and ways in which society and media fetishizes asian womxn and also how white glorification takes place within our communities and in relationships. We discuss societies outlook on asian men and also take a look into history and its discrimination toward Asian people. We hope you enjoy this weeks episode and its overall message. Reminder that love is love, unless you have a white savior complex or yellow fever.
Trigger warning: we will be discussing examples of rape culture. Please listen with your own discretion.

This episode is heavy for all three of us, but we want to educate and talk about the issues of rape culture --- how expectations about gender, sexuality, and power promotes it. What is it? How can we begin challenging expectations that promote rape culture?
In this episode, we dive deeper into toxic and healthy relationships. From friends to family and romantic partners, we share our experiences and how we’re growing as well. We also discuss our apology languages which were created by the same individuals who are known for the 5 love languages. If you want to find your apology language, they have a quiz that you can take online --> https://www.5lovelanguages.com/quizzes/apology-quiz/
This was a very personal episode for us and we hope you take something away from our experiences and resources we shared. As we move forward we will grow and evolve more into the best versions of ourselves.

We want to address that September is National Suicide Prevention month. Conversations about our mental health and what we’re going through needs to be normalized. For those going through a hard time, do know that you’re not alone and there are those who are there for you. A reminder to check in with your friends and also address the barriers they or yourself may be facing that are affecting mental health. There are different resources that you use such as the national suicide prevention lifeline where they will be there for you if you or a loved one are in distress or a crisis, which is available 24/7.
We're baaaack~
To start off the season, we wanted to have a RAW conversation about sex. Don't worry, it's a SAFE space here. *wink*
Listen in on our embarrassing first times and how awkward it was to have "the talk" with our parents. We also go in deeper with subjects such as OnlyFans, masturbation, double-standards, and rape culture.
Disclaimer: We will be sharing our experiences as heterosexual cis-gender womxn and using binary terms. Sexuality is a spectrum that comes with many identities. There are great resources and other individuals who are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community that share their experiences.
We're back for a BONUS episode! We're challenging ourselves to a BFF test from the Asian Boss Girl Podcast. Wanna learn who our first boyfriends were? What our favorite activity as a kid was? Or if we crumble, roll, or fold toilet paper? This special episode covers it all and more! We also answer a few questions from the "We're Not Really Strangers" card deck.

Being single is usually looked down upon in society. Singles face stigma and shame, and eventually are pressured into getting married by a certain age. AND WHY IS THAT? We are continuously conditioned to think that getting into a relationship or marriage is our only escape, and that is utter bullshit. Being single is a choice! In this episode, we are here to tell you our experiences on being single AF, what we’ve learned about our past/present self, a little bit about our attachment styles, and all the other teaaaa~
