Let’s talk about words and how we use them. Let’s talk about the positive and negative effects of our words.
----more----
Words have power. What we say matters. Many people will argue that its just words and that they can’t really hurt you. But those people are not being honest with someone. Likely themselves. Because words can hurt. And their effects are felt beyond a physical wound.
----more----
How could we change the world if we were careful with our words? How many lives could we turn around by offering hope instead of hurt? We can do so much with the language we use it is amazing.
----more----
This week we explore words. And I give an example of their power from my early years of teaching. Come listen.

Allow me the privilege to introduce you to Lynne. To begin with, she is an all-around amazing human being with the amazing ability to make you feel seen and heard. No matter the distance. But she is also an award-winning musician and educator, personal coach, and sound healing therapist who loves to help people discover their unlimited potential and possibilities.
----more----
Join our conversation with Lynne as she shares her journey from classical musician to sound therapist and what she has learned along the way. As an expert in sound, she has added to her skill set and uses her love for vibrations to help people heal. Starting with herself.
----more----
There are so many ways to find yourself and the healing you need. Not because you are broken, but because we all need help to find our true selves under all the layers of family and society. You can follow Lynne on Social media @lynnestukart on Instagram and Facebook or check out her website at https://www.lynnestukart.com/ and see if sound therapy resonates with you.

They say we have to own our lives right? The good and the bad. What about the embarrassing? Have you ever thought about owning your embarrassment? It is a strange concept I know. But it has some awesome effects.
----more----
Let me put it a different way, what if you could stop giving other people your power? Interested now? We give away our power so often that we don't always see that we are doing it. But we give it away and give it away and then wonder why we feel so powerless.
----more----
And as humans we often make others feel dumb for simply being human. But they can only make us feel about it if we let them. Being human is a wonderful, amazing thing and it is full of less than graceful encounters. (with floors, doors, sidewalks, etc.) And mishaps in all their forms. (wardrobe malfunctions, sudden illness, and on and on.)
----more----
Own your humanness. Own the silly that makes you happy and own the embarrassing things you may do. And then you will have the power of being yourself. Unapologetically. Right where you are.
----more----
The crazy continues. This world we live in feels a bit like a powder keg. But what do we do about it? How do we handle all the terrible things that keep coming?
----more----
The first thing to do is to be nice to yourself. Be soft and gentle. Keep yourself from falling apart. You are worth the effort. And when it comes right down to it, you cannot help anyone if you are curled up in the corner.
----more----
When the world gets heavy, and it is always going to be heavy, take care of you. Don’t push so hard. Take time to feel it and work through it. Remember this is most definitely a distance race and not a sprint. Be gentle with yourself, and then you can be in a place to help others.
----more----
Life isn’t always rainbows and butterflies. Sometimes it is hurricanes and tornadoes. Those can be literal and/or figurative. And one of the best things we can do for ourselves in this situation is to admit that we are not ok.
----more----
When we lie to ourselves and insist we are ok, we cause more struggle. Our minds and bodies know we are lying and the reaction is not good. Sometimes when we admit we aren’t ok, it helps us be ok.
----more----
Be honest and kind to yourself. And then to others as well. The world we live in is now set permanently to crazy, and it is impossible to be ok all the time. Own it so you can work through it. It’s a little scary, but you are brave and so worth it.
----more----
What if I told you that you are creative? Would you believe me? This week we are talking about being creative. All the reasons that we fight doing it. And the benefits that come from being brave and creating anyway.
----more----
Let’s look at being creative out of the box. There are so many things that require creativity. And endless ways for us to express ourselves. Art and performance of course, but also building and mechanics. The only limit is what you can find to do. Let’s explore.

----more----
How do you own your dreams? How do you claim those dreams for yourself? Step one: own them. Own them by saying them out loud. Stop being afraid to voice what it is you want. Give your dreams a voice. Your voice. Literally.
----more----
Let your dreams out of your head. Remember your head is not very big. There is not enough room in your head for your dreams to reach their full potential. There is not enough room for them to grow and change. We can not live fully in our heads.
----more----
Speak your dreams out loud. Tell the universe/God/your higher power what you want and then start moving. You will be surprised what happens.
