As you may or may not know, we recently attended the SOE Influencers Summit in San Diego. In this episode we give you a play-by-play of the time we spent with the other attendees and SOE staff. Also, since we weren't able to get there until the 2nd day of the event we summarize what we *would* have said. Here's your fix of YaMB! This week's show features some... interesting... side-track discussions. MrBubble talks about the fun event he's attending later in the evening. After MrBubble cracks a joke at the expense of our good friend Count Dooku, Yivvits has a rather severe fit of laughter. As an extra-special ultra-exclusive treat we listen to some new music from Chapter 5. We also listen to more messages from our listeners and try to figure out just what *is* the future of Star Wars Galaxies. Enjoy!

Here it is! The first full length episode of 2007! We grabbed all 68 of our previous shows and dumped them into our new podcast reverse engineering tool. Just a few quick clicks and the tool spit out the best (worst?) bits of quality from each show. Finally, we applied those bits to this episode. It's all very complicated, but episode 69 sports some nice stats: +40 Geekyness, +15 Hair Product Control, and +22 Rantyness.

Enough chatter; you're probably wondering what's in this episode. MrBubble wonders how our in-game characters affect us in real life, and vice versa. Creating our Holiday Extravaganza totally drained us of energy. Yet, somehow we put together this "mini-episode" of the show! We take this opportunity to do a little housekeeping. MrBubble tells us about his own "Secret Santa" experience and we give you some insight into how we came up with the SOE Secret Santa bit for our Holiday Extravaganza. During this holiday season we spend time with our friends and family, celebrate religious events, and or look forward to a certain jolly elf to bring us gifts (no, not Brenlo :p). This year we revisit our favorite (and only) Star Wars Christmas album. Listen along as 3PO teaches R2 how to sing, the workshop droids finally figure out what to get a Wookiee for Christmas, and 3PO performs a thoughtful reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas."

Most large companies have some sort of holiday gathering and we assumed SOE is no different. Our assumptions were confirmed when we obtained a super top-secret recording from the event. Smed and Helios exchanged "Secret Santa" gifts; need we say more?

We sum up our personal feelings about SWG for 2006 and discuss what we'd like to see happen with the game in the coming year. Finally, we exchange gifts and are humored (or possibly horrified) that we both got each other... Nah, you'll just have to listen to find out!

This is it! Our final "normal" episode of 2006! (normal for us anyway) As usual, we discuss a plethora of topics this week. Welcome to another episode of SWGwYaMB! It's been a rather uneventful week for both of us yet somehow we popped out this hour long beauty. We talk about Life Day 2006, listen to a few voicemails, and catch you up on what we've both been doing. Inspired by Yivvits' shader quest, MrBubble has started a pursuit of his own: Droids can't be called in structures. He'll fill us in on what he's done so far. Our guest this week is none other than angry teenage Anakin. He's just so angry; we think he needs a hug… or some anger management.

The wait is over! We know you've been starving for another episode and now you may partake in the feast that is Episode 64. While on a short vacation MrBubble stopped by the SOE offices in San Diego. What for? Did he survive? Was he brainwashed? He'll answer all of these questions, and more!

While MrBubble was busy charming SOE employees into giving him cookies and gummi worms, Yivvits made a breakthrough in his never-ending quest to figure out those broken shaders/textures. That's not all, he's also been playing another game and it isn’t CoV.
