We have gotten a lot of personal questions about why we left India and our stay at Nithyananda ashram or adheenam (temple monastery complex). There have also been a ton of different voices and stories going around lately about our guru and spiritual community. Many people come and go from the ashram over the years, so you might be wondering WHY? We felt this was the perfect time to address what our reasons behind leaving were so there can be no misinterpretation of our story.. Plus, the reasons we have seen many people choose to leave. It is also really important to hear from people who spent 2-3 years there, what the ashram really is like and the type of environment it really is. We hope our honesty and openness will be met with respect and kindness. We have nothing to gain by exposing our personal struggles and no influence to make this video, other than our heart's call to it.
