After three weeks of battling shutdown-related monotony, Ben joins J-man to discuss his top ten NBA players of all-time. Little do they know just how contentious the discussion will become when Ben puts Bill Russell (44% career FG%) on his list. Later, we open the vault to a Mt. Rushmore of iconic American sports franchises with Patriot league MVP and VIP Ryan Jelly. Pull yourselves up by your bootstraps, we're going in.
In a very special episode of You and Me and All the Sports, we have an extended interview with Georgetown Hoya great Ryan. As an All-Patriot League OT and team captain, he provides unique insights into CTE, coronavirus, injury rehab, and life after football. We also had to do a Stillers Mt. Rushmore cuz go Stillers. Hoya Saxa ladies and gents.
Today's episode shows Jman getting a bit nostalgic with some retro players. Later, Scott rolls in to complete two Mt. Rushmore's based on college stars who never made it in the pros. We're losing it in quarantine so buckle up.
After going over recent NFL free agency moves, Jman is again joined by Scott (since their county has been effectively shut down by that overbearing govt thing) to review Tiger King. But before that, the gentlemen have to go over the recent Jamal Murray for MVP campaign stemming from the Nuggets guard's insta story.
Scott jumps back in to talk about simping in today's climate and what we miss most about March Madness. Later, Ben and Matt join to discuss a plethora of topics from an anti-toilet paper cult to Amish DUIs. No sports 2020 continues yippeeeeeeee.........
With the DOW falling 12%, can Jman save the economy by continuing his interviewing efforts? After breaking down the recent NFL trades and signings, Scott joins to discuss his thoughts on Brady's move, Tinder's stock, and DOOM x Isabella pandemonium. Later, Heh joins us from his WV bunker to double-down on Cam Newton's lack of arm talent and the recent hiccup with Pewdiepie's godson Alabama. Fasten your jimmies.
As the COV-19 outbreak sweeps the nations, schools, organizations, and even churches are closing their doors. With our heroes being separated by the evacuation of Morgantown, Jackson (affectionately referred to as Jman against his will) hopes to take advantage of the unique situation to interview those displaced from their universities about everything from the death of March Madness to why China would do such a thing to us. The boy(s) [are] back. (Apologies for wind in the interview, as the pandemic forced us to record in a less than ideal spot)
When a duo of sports talk geniuses are separated by a viral pandemic, one man with the microphone at his house must work to repair the broken world of athletics. Listen starting Monday, March 16th on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
After a devastating defeat to the Longhorns (down) at Milan Puskar, Heh and Jackson try to relax with excessive hockey betting. The Steelers lost their new Big Ben and possibly their season, while LSU looks to finally be relevant without Nick Saban. Suckering Succotash lads.
