The book of Ephesians is the place to be strengthened and to be encouraged as followers of Jesus. It is the place to be equipped for the purposes God has created each of us for, worship of him being at the top of the list of his purposes for us. The Westminster Catechism says that humans' "chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever." Paul calls us to this in Ephesians 1:3-14.
