You Are My Density

An urgent bulletin, winning, two great South Korean revenge movies, and a totally ridiculously fun new science fiction whodunit. Stuff mentioned: The Man from Nowhere (2010), Deliver Us from Evil (2020), Deliver Us from Evil (2014), The Black Phone (2021), Mercy (2026), Robocop (1987), and Hypnotic (2023).

Excessive whistling, a reminder on phone etiquette, astronomic astigmatism, a glitch in the system, this goddamn Açaí shit, forward to the future, Alphabet City has shitty music, a joke not worth repeating gets repeated, Navin Johnson on wine, several stories from other episodes gets repeated (I think), a goofy horror film about killer dessert, a little Tessio, a misstep from Osgood, and a classic song from a goofy movie. Stuff mentioned: Prince "Kiss" (1986), Alphabet City (1984), Police Academy (1984), The Jerk (1979), Mad Max 2: The Warrior (1981), The Stuff (1984), The Godfather (1972), Wendy's "Where's the Beef?" (1984 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FZNYXKHwNw), Bang the Drum Slowly (1973), Brian's Song (1971), Keeper (2025), Long Legs (2024), The Monkey (2025), Psycho (1960), Mahogany (1975), Diana Ross "Theme from Mahogany" [Do You Know Where You're Going To?] (1975), and Diana Ross Mahogany (1975).

It's got dodgy singing and some of the voice wavers, but I swear there's something to this ending right?  Or I am nuts?  Don't answer that.

Rocky roads, mommy dearest, the name game, a solid new French thriller, and some questionable quotes. Stuff mentioned: A Private Life AKA Vie privée (2026).

OK I kind of like this one. Although goddamnit it kind of sounds like I am saying "If you have a pee" when I am actually saying "If you have a key".  Oh and I kind of dislike the very ending lyrics but I was too lazy to change them.  My apologies.

The allure of statistics, produce pornography, billionaire bozos, a fairly good Dennis Miller impersonation, movies with Marc, a weird LA Jack the Ripper film, an enjoyable body horror film, a shitty idea for a movie, a genuine masterpiece, and more statistics. Stuff mentioned: The Muffs "Lucky Guy" (1993), The Muffs The Muffs (1993), Hamnet (2025), Michael Steinberger The Philosopher in the Valley: Alex Karp, Palantir, and the Rise of the Surveillance State (2025), Is This Thing On? (2025), Punchline (1988), Funny People (2009), Lenny (1974), The King of Comedy (1982), Doc Hollywood (1991), The Lodger (2009), Shell (2024), The Plague (2025), and The Animal Kingdom (2023).

OK, the last installment of the trilogy of terror, here's one more song.  The lyrics are kind of just made up on the spot, but goddamnit, once again I am digging this chorus.

I know you are like why is this asshole posting just songs all of a sudden?  God I hate Marc D.  I want to kill him.  Wait, ok back on track.  Yes my singing is always shoddy, but I just did this one tonight and isn't it a pretty ok chorus?

So aside from some dodgy singing, I mean come on isn't this chorus kind of good?  Don't lie, you son of a bitch.

Stand back and standby.
