When was the last time you looked at the things you do and inquired why you do them that way?
In this episode, I'm joined by the wonderful Belle Lockerby, Writer, TEDx Speaker, Expert Clifton Strengths Coach, and Mom. Belle is passionate about words and helping people find theirs, the ones that would help them claim their worth and change their world. In her second book, "The words the caterpillar ate," Belle guides women experiencing "puberty's other end" and the changes in their bodies and spirits throughout the perimenopause and menopause years.
Throughout this episode, Belle talks about the words we use and the meaning behind them, the need to challenge how we do things and why we do them, and why we find it so hard to let go of certain things. She shares bits of her upbringing, her relationship with her parents, and how she was parentified by them.
Plus, we discuss her latest book and her inspiration to write it, the importance of identifying when people talk to us from wounds, not scars, and so much more.
