When the soldier has one of the dogs transport a sleeping princess to his room, he is sentenced to death but cunningly summons the dogs to save his life. The tinderbox - a box to kindle a flame - is the equivalent of the wonderful lamp, the witch is the evil magician, and the dogs with swirling eyes take the place of the two genies of the lamps. There is even a princess who is brought to the hero while asleep. But instead of the exotic eastern setting, we are in Europe, with a comparison of the dog's eyes to the Great Tower of Copenhagen in Andersen's native Denmark.

Title: Luka Mudischev

Author: Ivan Barkov

Narrator: Semen Furman

Format: Unabridged

Length: 33 mins

Language: English

Release date: 04-23-13

Publisher: New Internet Technologies

Genres: Classics, World Literature

Publisher's Summary:

The poem has always been attributed to Ivan Semenovich Barkov, who died 30 years before the birth of Pushkin. But Barkov, by all indications couldn't have written it.

Recent studies suggest the collective work of Prov Sadovsky and his comrades, the Maly Theatre actors. So, this work will most likely came into being around the mid-19th century, and then evolved over time.

The first audio recording of the poem belongs to the great Russian actor Vasily Ivanovich Kachalov, who made it, probably in the late 1930s, during a tour of the Moscow Art Theatre in America.

Be warned, listeners, that this work has some obscene content.

interesting cop love story

ending made me cry

wondering if they got Married & it survived .

Mediocre listen

What did you like best about The Detective's Lover? What did you like least?

The last hour of the story. The story wasn't exciting enough. I was just glad when it was over.

Would you recommend The Detective's Lover to your friends? Why or why not?

No. I prefer a book that sweeps me into the story. This one was just an average story. It didn't even have enough passion between the characters to make it interesting.

Any additional comments?

I'd save my credit for something better. I wouldn't even get this one on sale. It just doesn't have anything to warrant a listen.

Ratings: 1.5 of 5 out of 13 votes

Genres: Erotica & Sexuality, Fiction

Publisher's Summary:

Regina Ransom may be the queen of erotica writers when it comes to rough and reluctant gang bangs. In this collection of five of her scorching stories, ill-fated heroines are pushed to their sexual limits by groups of sex-hungry men with hard cocks and no concern for the comfort of their living sex dolls. Of course, when Regina writes, the reader soon realizes that a rough gangbang with a reluctant woman opens her mind, spirit, and body to true and real pleasure. So pull up a chair and get right into this collection of more than 23,000 words worth of gang bangs.

"Given to the Group": A misunderstanding lands a girl at a rock band's hotel room. She think's she's scored the opportunity to make a proposal. They think they've scored a willing gangbang girl.

"No Choice at All": An event planner never realizes until she's pushed to her knees that's she's the entertainment for the convention she's organized.

"Keep the Line Moving": A girl with a crush finally gets her boy undressed. Of course, the boy wants to make sure all of his friends are entertained.

"Song and Dance! The Showgirl Gets Gang Banged: A Rough and Reluctant Short"

Regina Ransom's controversial forays into the world of rough and reluctant gang-bang sex has produced yet another extreme hardcore erotica short. In "Song and Dance", Lisa wants to be a star more than anything. When a man she thought would support her suddenly throws a monkey wrench into the works, she thinks her career and her chance at fame might be over. That's just the beginning, and before the end, she'll endure a terrible night of rough and reluctant gang-bang sex complete with humiliation, forced deep-throat, very rough sex, and a painful first anal sex experience in the form of a vicious double penetration. Just how much can a woman take in the hopes of making it on Broadway?

"Seven the Hard Way": A woman is tired of being overlooked for promotion and confronts her boss, who allows her to meet with a group of company bigwigs. Only they're not really company bigwigs, and the meeting is all about getting their cocks into the girl.

Warning: This audiobook contains very graphic descriptions of rough gangbangs with reluctant women. There is forced deep throat, forced semen swallowing, very rough sex, rough anal sex, double penetration, and facial semen splattering. It is intended for mature readers who will not be offended by explicit depictions of sex acts between reluctant but consenting adults.

The WORST sound quality ever!

There is no way to determine how good this story is because no one could slog through the atrocious sound and production quality to know. The narration sounds like it was done under water with a hand held tape recorder, Audible should be ashamed to sell something of such execrable quality.

The WORST production quality EVER

What disappointed you about Rough and Reluctant by Regina: Five Gang Bang Shorts?

The production quality.
