Wth kind of bdsm book is this?!?!? For me this is a joke..... begging too be hit/punished, rude, disrespectful plus topping from the bottom. Bad story line with tolerable narration. I am still shaking my head in disappointment. Example: The harder he hits her the more she thinks he loves her.

The big queston is..... Will I get another book from this author. NO! I have finished 2 out of the 3 and I am dreading the 3rd as it is. However my OCD demands that I finish all the books I purchase. This author could have some amazing books and I picked wrong for me.

A story with lots of spanking

This story contains a small story line of a woman who to pay off her debt agrees to serve as a sex slave for whoever buys her. The story contains mostly of her being spanked with different items, having forced anal sex and giving blow jobs to whoever her owner demands. If these topic or the word cock offends please look elsewhere. The performance was well done as Kai has a very soothing yet powerful voice.

Mai Kennicott brings life to the characterization you wouldn't get from just reading the book.

The Payment series by Cassandra Carr was a good series. Prized, Pssessedand Purgatory followed Catrina in trying to become debt free. Jared becomes Catrina's benefactor when he takes care of her debt. For the next year she needs to service him. I enjoyed reading this book.

The Minotaur's Mate is a keeper

This story was definitely one of the better-written erotica stories I've read. The characters were nicely developed and likeable (when they were supposed to be, anyway), the storyline was interesting and kind of fun, and the sex was hot, tho more would be better. Listening to Kiryn's internal dialogue and her sense of humor was entertaining and delightful, as well, and I can't help but wonder what Rogan's internal dialogue might sound like... And, almost best of all (for me, being a grammar nerd and composition teacher)there were no painful, distracting, wince-inducing usage or syntax errors! Yay! An author who can craft a good story and write it well. The Minotaur's Mate is one story that's staying on my Kindle, not getting relegated to Archived Items or deleted with regret for having wasted the money and time on it. Good job, Elise, and please finish the sequel soon.

LilyElement Book Reviews - The Minotaur's Mate

I had someone tweet me a link to this book the other day so I snagged it since it was a freebie and a bit different from what I normally read. You see, the book revolves around Kiryn, a girl attempting to run away from home and her arranged marriage. She attempts to steal a statue/figurine one night, which she can sell to start her running away and is caught in the act. Her punishment is to work at the farm that she stole from. There are minotaurs, human bodies with bull heads at the farm. They are kept so their essence can harvested. Anyway, Kiryn is saved twice by a minotaur named Rogan. There is an attraction there, but one or both of the characters tries to deny it. The book itself was a fairly good read. It's erotic, heat level was hot and there are several sexual scenes in this small novella. I'm picky on novellas since it's hard to tell a story in just a few pages, this one executes it quite well though. I was pleased that it had a story arc and completed said story arc without being super rushed. I'd recommend this one if you're looking for a hot minotaur read.

I admit, I am a total sucker for books where two people - or one person and one monster/beast ;) - are alternately fighting and surrendering to a deep attraction for one another. The see-saw is a fun ride.

I never know how much of a blow-by-blow plot account to put in reviews, so I'll just say basically Kiryn is caught trying to steal a golden idol and is punished by being forced to work at a ranch collecting 'essence of minotaur'. Yup, she's a fluffer with a bucket for the big finish. Nice work if you can get it. She's rescued from being molested by one of the minotaur by their leader, Rogan.

Robotic narration

If you like the sound of computer text to speech, this is the audiobook for you. Layla Dawn is terrible and sounds like a robot with no emoting or fluctuation to her voice. Her reading of an erotic scene isn't much different from her reading of the character making a sandwich. Disappointing.

meah.. it was ok

I just could not get into the stories. there were only a few that were interesting the rest I found myself half listening. the narrator was god i liked her in the Alice in Wonderland sex stories.
