Delightful very short tale for lap readers. The sermon (beauty is in the eye of the beholder) does not sermonize! LeRoy is a charming dog with a equally charming lassie. Bright colorful illustrations make up 90% of each page. Highly recommended!

Darling Book

A darling childrens story, with a universal message of not judging all things with our eyes. Delightfully written in addition to wonderful art, Mrs Ronald and Tate publishing have produced an excellent little childs tale of an ugly dog and his pretty owner. I can't imagine a youngster not enjoying this book, or their parents for that matter. I know I and my children have.

Story for all ages

My daughter and I just love this book. She loves the doggy and I love the story that it tells. It's never too early to start teaching her the message of loving others. I recommend this to anyone with children or grand-children.

loved it, too

I purchased this book for my youngest grandchildren who are 2 and 4. Much to my surprise, not only did they want me to read it again, but my two older grandchildren, age 6 and 7, loved it, too! They now enjoy reading it to their younger siblings.

This is a silly, fun book to read and share. And the bonus is it's easy enough for older siblings to read and enjoy together as a family.

An awesome book, that I will have to buy a copy for each of my grandsons soon. :) I know the price might be a bit daunting at first...b ut you'll find it worth it... and a treasure to keep for the future. Cause there are pages where you can actually put your child's hand prints in the book. and a place to note the child's info about you reading the book to them.
