Some of same things were said as if they were talking to an idiot. If it was written for young children it might be OK...but if it was meant for adults it sounded very condescending.

Has How to Understand and Train your Cocker Spaniel Puppy or Dog Guide Book turned you off from other books in this genre?

I've read several puppy training books in the past and they seemed logical. But was trying to listen on the go and this new puppy I got is a cocker, which I haven't had. Very disappointing.

Great Read for Girls

I got this for my step daughter for Christmas and she really has started to love this book. She reads from it most nights and has been sharing with her friends at school. I will definitely add other books from this series to her library.

Every girl should have this!

Including grandmothers, like me! A classic resource, filled with low-tech fun. I bought it as a baby gift, but it ended up being a duplicate. So my granddaughter (who already has a copy) was delighted to be able to give it to a friend's little sister.

Include uncomfortable and not easy to talk about issues such as urine incontinence, cancers, blood clots, insomnia with stories. Real issues and stories that are relevant. Readers don't care about your great family dinners. Everyone "has" great dinners all the time.

This book is quite simply WONDERFUL. The author does a masterful job of making the fearful flyer feel understood in every possible way, and she addresses every possible objection the fearful flyer may have to getting on an airplane. Whether you have an all-out phobia or just minor flight jitters, you need to buy this book and read it before and during your trip. Because you WILL be taking that trip!

This helped me through anxiety over flying for the first time in 30 years. Highly recommended.
