Bad Delivery- Poor Content- Waste of Money
Overall content is wandering about the subject matter and hard to follow. Quality of the recording is very poor. Narrator, Helena is quite obnoxious to listen to. Overall content is poor and subject matter is lacking and the delivery is even yet horrible. To make the book even worse is the atrocious and quite disgusting music that is added in parts of the book, such as in the beginning. All in all, this book is a NIGHTMARE & Waste of time & Good Money!
Please do not waste your time or money!
horrible
bad audio, bad mixing, it has a really weird music that has nothing to do with getting into the tarot, I do have experience and I want to recover my knowledge, but not with this book.
A great introduction to tarot - nothing in depth.
Would you consider the audio edition of Tarot Stripped Bare to be better than the print version?
I don't think there is a print version.
Any additional comments?
The reason I liked this book was that it's a very simple introduction to tarot which walks through some simple spreads which are mainly different variations on 3 card spreads. Great for someone who hasn't done a reading before and needs a little help getting started.
I've seen some other books on tarot that talk about the cards in so much detail like for example why the king of pentacles has got a little picture of a salamander on his throne. This isn't like that, meanings are discussed only briefly.
Sound quality wasn't great - a little hissy, but it's intelligible.
Highly educational
An informative listening experience on an interesting subject.
This is not a book
I am utterly disappointed with this book. It is the soundtrack to a DVD and as a result it really doesn't work as a book at all. The narrator is a self confessed novice who interview others. This fails as they refer to what they can see, but often make talk about unnamed cards. This would work on DVD but never in a book. DO NOT BUY THIS. Don't even waste a credit on it. Just a money making scam.
