How powerful it is to heal with other women
Using food as a tool to heal and connect with the body

On this episode, I jump on solo to share a little bit of my own journey with body, food and learning to heal my relationship with myself. During eating disorders awareness week, I wanted to share a bit of my own healing journey and talk about how reframing "negative emotions" became a massive tool in my journey back home to myself. Often we're taught that certain emotions are good and certain emotions are bad. But the truth is, ALL emotions are valid and necessary. To be fully human is to give ourselves permission to feel all emotion. In my own journey of healing my relationship with my body, I had to learn how to feel fully, and all the way through an emotion so that I could stop using food as a tool to cope with the emotion that just wanted to be felt.
On this episode I talk about self compassion, how we can begin (and continue) to practice radical self acceptance.
I talk about practical tools to slow down and allow your body to speak to you.
And I talk about how to reframe "negative emotions" and why they're so important to feel.

On this week’s episode I sit down with Neeyaz from Unspoken Nutrition and this girl is so amazing y’all. She has such an empowering story of healing her own body - starting with food and then diving deeper into inner healing. Over a decade ago She was diagnosed with Grave’s Disease, Hyperthyroidism and Thyroid Eye Disease. She looked to nutrition and stress management as the roots of her healing, and discovered much more. Her own journey led her to explore holistic healing and finding ways to marry western and eastern medicine.
On this episode we talk about holistic health and how our bodies are so connected that sometimes physical aliments can be a manifestation of something inner. We talk about practical ways to use both food and inner work to help heal symptoms that are showing up in your body. And we talk about how to have compassion for yourself along the way!
You can find Neeyaz at @unspokennutrition and www.unspokennutrition.com

This week's episode of Back to the Body is all about the MOON! Yup! This week I sit down with Britten LaRue, a coach, guide, and astrologer to talk about how we can use the rhythms of the sky to connect, integrate, and make sense of our lives.
Britten is the author of one of my current favorite workbooks called Moon to Moon, a journal for working with the lunar cycle. In this episode we talk about rhythms and rituals we can learn from studying the sky, and we dive into what the wisdom of creation teaches us about our own lives.
We talk about how, just like the moon, we have permission to operate in cycles and rhythms. We have permission to change and evolve and the moon really speaks to this mystery that our greatest magic sometimes is born in our darkest times.
Britten combines astrology, the Tarot, meditation, energy work, and moon manifestation to guide her clients towards meaningful, purposeful, practical life change and soul evolution.
Whether you’re brand new to astrology or a complete guru, this episode is packed full of wisdom on how we can use astrology to come back home to ourselves.

On today's episode, I sit down with Amanda Huggins, who is a coach, an intuitive guide, and a soul-care provider.
Amanda blends her spiritual, scientific, and practical approach to life to empower her clients to make the change they actually want in their lives. In her coaching, she specializes in working with and through anxiety. Amanda is the girl who can geek out with you on quantum physics, but then get really gritty and practical on how to apply that to your life
On today's episode, we talk about anxiety. We talk about really leaning into our lives and choosing ourselves, and we talk about some of the barriers and mindset blocks that come up when we are pursuing what we want in life.
Then I have Amanda coach me through one of my hurdles. And guys she’s just so fun and amazing - I think you’re going to love and get SO much out of this episode .
