In today's episode, we focus on the curse of people-pleasing and how to ditch it and start living authentically!

People pleasers work harder and harder but see no positive change. Their hearts bleed for others, but in this people-pleasing state, it only drains and destroys you.

You can only control yourself.

Think about how unreasonable it is to push other people into doing what THEY want because it makes THEM feel comfortable? This only leads to division and destruction.

Where better to start this journey than at the beginning. Before there were Bible characters, there was the creation story. It wasn't until much later in my life that I learned how significant this story is and how it draws me into the presence of God's love. Today's conversation is AMAZING!  We talk about the Holy Spirit and all that He means in our lives.  The core message that shone through was about faith and how it requires action.

Faith without action is just a five letter word. James was telling us this in chapter 2:17. "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself."

I used to hold the mindset that unless I was doing the works, I wasn't saved. 

This is good news because we don't have to worry about the work we're supposed to do.  God will lead us to it when we abide in Him.
