Carolyn Pereira writes about finding your ultimate fulfillment in following your particular call - especially for those just starting out, starting over, or starting to burn out in the life they chose. A trained vocational director and college advisor turned homeschooling mother of 6 kids (under 10), she and her husband have built a thriving and vibrant life of simply following the Lord's promptings in every moment, regardless of size, whether it is accepting the call to smile at a stranger, eat better, have (another) baby, or leave everything and move all the way from Idaho to Vermont. They just finished building a new home where they plan to drink in every sunrise and raise their children to pursue God with everything they are.

Inside this episode, I have with me money coach Katie Jones. We discuss Katie’s struggles with self-doubt and how the enemy uses that against her and what she does to combat this.
Katie and I discuss the dangers of self-doubt and how those seeds become planted in our minds when we think about them instead of casting them out and filling them up with what is good, true, pure, excellent, and righteous.
We don't have to hide our mistakes for fear of looking like an imposter in our field or role. Shedding light on our flaws and mistakes helps others realize it’s okay that to make mistakes too. We have a forgiving God who knows we’re going to mess up.
Katie offers many practical money tips that are rooted in the truth of God's word. I pray you are blessed by this episode!

Inside today’s podcast, I have with me, Sister Delphine Kirkland. Delphine spends her time taking care of her husband, praying for people, and writing! She has two published books out and is a joy to be around.
Today we will hear her testimony of how God healed her and of all the work she does for the Lord. You will be blessed and encouraged.
Delphine Kirkland is a minister, Bible teacher, Christian blogger, Christian vlogger, and has a Women’s Jail Ministry. Her dream was to become a successful opera singer, but God had other plans. Although her dreams and goals were interrupted, she doesn’t feel life treated her unfairly. She strongly believes it was the will of God and doesn’t regret one moment that her dreams and goals were shattered, because she found a Savior in a way she would never have known.
Now Delphine’s goals in life are to keep writing books to encourage, help those who are struggling on their Christian journey, and win souls for Christ. She is eager to share with the world her story of how she met a God of power and miracles.
Delphine is happily married and resides with her husband Ben, in Sweet Water, AL.

As I observe the world around me, I notice that the concept of surrender is not very attractive to most. Many have struggled with the idea of letting go of control, it feels too scary. I know that as I have practiced daily surrender there are plenty who are confused by me and even think that I don't care about a specific issue because I've let go. The truth is, I have put the issue in God's hands where it belongs, and then I let him guide me in His perfect timing.
Today Lauri and I discuss surrender in great detail. I know that the Holy Spirit will bless you as you listen.
Lauri is a wife, mother, grandmother, PHD professor, musician, music therapist, and new faith-based writer! I'm so pleased that she has joined me back on the podcast.

Lauri has a ministry of Singing Christ’s Hope Into Your Suffering – aiming to help women who too need to remember who He is, through Scripture and song. Playlists. Short devotionals filled with Scripture, like mini-worship moments.
