Topics on this week's YDKN Pod range from ASMR, crypto, gig economy, bussing table (again), and dominatrixing.
You didn't ask for it and we deliver it. Hmm. That's a pretty cool slogan.

This episode runs the gamut. From meditation, to dining out, to dating apps. Nick & Jess really go for it today. Should you or should you know stack your plates for your server after your done eating out? Is this or is this not a generational issue? Why is this even news? Nick and Jess talk about "Ethical Non-Monogamy." Is it real, is it just a non-commital excuse to not commit, are men really from Mars, and are women really better than men?
Only one way to find out. In this episode of You Don't Know, Nick.

In other news, Jess asks Nick about what his favorite YA series was as a kid... and let's just say that this was... not the best topic to ask Nick about.
Crypto Corner creeps up again, so if you don't want to be in on the latest trend, broh.... just skip it.

Is it shocking that Nick used to do cold calls selling car warranties "back in the day"? It shouldn't, but still, him finding a way to share this information tangentially after a simple mention of the Mayan calendar is really a thing to behold.
To be fair, Jessica is super full of doom and gloom, so thank goodness he's full of funny anecdotes.
Jessica also puts Nick to the test to see if any of his slang is up to date with the current Gen Z language. No cap, it's funny. A mini Crypto Corner ends the episode... helping Jessica to realize that the more she learns about Crypto, the less she understands.

Despite being completely disappointed in their new found love of Olivia Rodrigo, Jess and Nick muster the strength to do the rest of the episode. Gender is the main topic of the day, told mostly through the lens of Nick's experience with raising a young child in this today's world and letting them learn how to become themselves.

Coffee and cigars, the main topics of this episode.
Nick and Jess learned that they were both Foldger's babies! ie. Both of their parents drank that stuff. Which leads into a deeper conversation about what the coffeehouse experience was like for them as they were growing up.
The meat and cigars of the episode, though, is Nick & Jess discussing their respective takeaways from the scandal smelled around the world, Bill Clinton & Monica Lewinsky.

Not that Nick is resentful or anything, but he just wished that Jessica gave him a better idea of what this week's episode was going to be about. However, he did hope that she would conveniently forget about his promise sharing his "quarterlife crisis" story. She did not.

This week's episode of "You Don't Know, Nick" really needed rails, but from what we can remember, we talked s'more about Simone Biles, criticized the MOVIE "Can't Hardly Wait," and broached the divisive issue on whether they separate their light and dark clothing in the wash.
Asking the hard questions, people, and just for you. Oh, yeah, and Nick can't stop talking about Crypto. But we're pleased to report that the sex=crypto analogy is standing the test of time. New episodes every Friday. Special thanks to Derek Lettman.Interested in becoming a Patron? Simone Biles, standing on platforms for medals and mental health. Nick and Jess talk about their Patreon Exclusive Deep Dive about mental health and how important it is to have this conversation right now.
Aaaaand, Nick just HAS to talk about CRYPTO. No, but seriously, have you seen that market? Shiz is bonkerz. He doesn't claim to know much OR to be offering you financial advice, but we promise to make it interesting thanks to finding the perfect metaphor about crypto currency with... you guessed it... anal beads.
All that and more.

*Disclaimer* This episode talks a lot about drugs & alcohol. We do not advocate the use of substances, but we sure as hell can reminisce about them.
Well, Nick had an ace up his sleeve, and his name is Sami Nassar, childhood friend of the Massouh family, condo hotel owning entrepeneur, but most importantly one of the OG Buds of '94. Oh, you remember that episode when Nick mentioned that teenagers would cross the boarder from El Paso into Juarez and proceed to "drink and drown"? Well, Sami not only corroborates Nick's insane stories, but gives us an even better look into what it was like for that genearation to party hardy.
We also check out some of the thoughts of Facebook (bleh) users on what they think makes Gen X *Gen X*. And boy these takes are "hot".
