Doc has been sober for over 46 years. He gives us heartfelt, honest and practical insights on how to deal with someone you know with an addiction.
Doc is NAVY veteran. He has worked as a Chaplain for police, fire departments and military for over 12 years. His “Heroes At Home" is a program that honors fellow veterans and their families for the services they gave. Doc also earned a master's degree in Psychology, and a Doctorate in Theology. He later became the Clinical Director for a local mental health agency running five programs. All of this, after he became sober.
Doc states, “My garbage has turned into a treasure chest, and I am now a citizen in my community that can be valued. The truth is I was only following my instructions from a loving and all-powerful God. Now, I get to be that person.
