This week's topics are very laid back and casual, as Kaley and Thea sit down and have a conversation about things that have been on their minds lately. Five-day work weeks, money management, and personality traits are a few of the main points on this week's lineup, so take a listen and see if you can relate to any of the topics that are discussed this week. Thanks for tuning in, hopefully this will make your Sunday a little less scary :)
In an ironic twist of fate, we start off the episode talking about how we are much better at this now than when we started, yet we apparently already ran out of ideas of things to talk about in just the third week back. There is no rhyme or reason to any of the topics we talk about this week, and much like the way we talk about driving somewhere and not knowing how you got there, you may find that when you finish this episode you have no idea what you just listened to. We cover sleepwalking, 'this or that' topics, and a few Thea stories that will hopefully make you laugh on your morning commute or during your workout. We hope you enjoy and come back next week, where we will hopefully be better than we were this week. Thanks for listening!
P.S. Go check out our Instagram page (@ykwimpodcast) to reference the picture we are talking about during the episode.
Last week was all about Thea's list, so this week is all about Kaley's. From LED headlights to toilet paper to Facebook, there are plenty of things that get her worked up. Maybe you can relate? We really take some time to air out our frustrations this week, so sit back and enjoy listening to us vent for the next 40 minutes :)
PSA: You'll hear it throughout the episode but PLEASE don't take any of this too seriously or personally. It's all in good fun, and even if you do put your TP under instead of over we will still be your friend.
Are you sick of hearing us talk about being back yet? Yeah well so are we. Things have been pretty busy for us the last few months, as many of you can probably relate, but we truly missed being able to sit down and record our podcast, so we are going to try to be better about posting consistently (no promises). This week is all about Thea, since she's had some pretty exciting life changes recently. We fill you in on that before letting Thea take the reins on all the topics she wants to discuss - which as you may be able to imagine, is a lot of things. This is a great preview for anyone who has wondered how our conversations usually go when we're trying to figure out what to talk about each week. Hopefully you can follow along!
P.S. I (Kaley) didn't really listen to this episode to edit it like I normally do, so if this is poorly produced give me a break. I was busy this week. :)
After a two week hiatus we are finally back! After a bit of discussion we managed to find our way back to the foundation our podcast was built on, which is pointless topics that add no value to any part of your day. Reminiscent of our first episode, we talked a lot about food (we were hungry okay, don't come for us). More specifically, we talked about reservations, our lack of originality when it comes to ordering, and some food combinations from our elementary days. Also, I feel the need to apologize in advance for the topic of hibernation and what you are about to listen to. Please come back next week.
P.S. Thea never found the TikTok in question.
Hey guys! This week we decided to switch it up just a little and rather than talking about random topics, we decided to ask each other random questions to help you get to know us a little better. (Whether or not this will be a good thing remains to be seen.) We always just assume that everyone listening knows who we are, and we've recently realized that may not be the case. This probably won't tell you very much about who we are as people (or maybe it will, idk), but it at the very least it might help you understand our relationship a little bit better. Per usual, thanks for letting us waste 40 minutes of your time :)
We made it back for another week! Are you surprised? We kind of are if we're being honest. Anyways, this week we talked about something that neither of us really understand at all, which is somewhat of a rarity for us. But seriously, why does daylight savings exist? And who deemed leap years a necessity? Who knows. We also talk fears and phobias (NOT fetishes) and why we think they exist. We embarrass ourselves in more ways than one in this episode, so enjoy! Also, if you haven't already, make sure you follow us on Spotify and turn on notifications so you never miss a new episode!
P.S. Sorry this description sucks, this episode is all over the place and I don't have enough wit to try and describe it this week.
P.P.S. The sea monster Kaley was thinking of was the Loch Ness Monster. I just had to put that out there.
Hey guys! After a very long year with no new episodes we are so excited to be back to recording! A lot has changed in the last year, as we're sure you all know, but we decided that would make for the perfect opportunity to talk about the new hobbies and habits people may have picked up in their newfound free time. From dry shampoo to TikTok, we talk about things that we've started doing, as well as a few things we will honestly probably never do (we're looking at you, DIYs). Also, I do feel the need to mention that I can understand where Thea was going with the word "conscience". She knew her destination, she just didn't have a ride to get there. Anyways, as always, this description will probably make a lot more sense after you listen to the podcast. So what are you waiting for? No seriously, press play right now. We're so glad to be back!
Our week seven episode is extra special because we finally have our first guest on the podcast! Austin joins us this week to talk about tacos, adrenaline, super powers, and flashlights (?), as well as a few other random topics - per usual. Tune in to hear a third opinion on all the pointless conversations Kaley and Thea usually have with each other every week. Special thanks to Austin for putting up with us for the duration of this podcast.
This is probably the most laid back episode we have posted so far. We talk about Girl Scout cookies, watching shows on Netflix, and taking naps (honestly the power trio). There was no real method to the madness this week, so if you aren't that impressed, that's okay because our expectations were low from the beginning tbh. We also talk about the first special guest that could have been (eyeroll). This position is still open, so if you want it to be you, send us a message!
