Ricky Nixon is perhaps most well known for being an AFL player manager, but before that career kicked off he was a VFL footballer for Carlton, St Kilda & Hawthorn, he made his VFL debut for the Blues back in 1983, in the jumper number #48 - Carlton went down to Melbourne on that day, Ricky had 9 touches in his first game, it was his only game in the seniors that season.
