Burnout can be extremely hard to come out of and even recognize in the early stages. It also may look different for everyone, but it's also very important to know the signs and set boundaries in place. Only you know how much you truly have on your plate and how much more you can take.

Planning is very important as a creative because it helps you look at the bigger picture with a smaller lens. It allows you to set goals for yourself that is achievable and won't overwhelm you in the process.

When you have so many things you are trying to accomplish, it can seem like you don't have enough time. The truth is that you have all the time that you need. Every project has an appointed time, so it can reach the people it's meant to reach and allow you to learn the lessons needed along the way.

Other than balance, consistency has to be one of the hardest things to conquer as a creative. Consistency affects your trust with yourself as well as with your clients. It can instinctively help you build your portfolio and get a better understanding of your style as time goes on. However, the biggest takeaway from consistency is DISCIPLINE.
