IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING. After nearly 100 episodes, Stephen finally gets his day in the sun where he has carte blanche to bring in a fellow hater, all in an effort to try to convince Nick and the YLSW Universe that “You Should HATE Wrestling”! To do this, he enlists the help of writer, comedian and former-fan-turned-hater Brian Rubinow (Fat Wolf Comedy, The Night Cap with Stacy Rumaker). Brian talks about the match that made him tune out: the Hell in a Cell Title vs. Career match between Triple H and Cactus Jack from WWF No Way Out 2000. Plus, in the spirit of the episode, Nick finally shows Stephen the thing he hates the most: the rightfully maligned 2002 Katie Vick saga from WWF including the full buildup, in-ring segments and the infamous, barftastic “Triple H dresses up as Kane and screws a dummy” segment. Stephen would like to note, Brian is in no way a wrestling hater. He’s a wrestling fan who didn’t like the booking of a match, which is not the same thing. David Steiman (director of Santa’s Slay starring Bill Goldberg) comes back to lend his filmmaking expertise in a discussion of John Carpenter's 1988 cult classic "They Live" staring Rowdy Roddy Piper. David surprised and delights the boys with his head to toe Rowdy Roddy Piper costume he wore to the recording. And the crew breaks down the cult status film, including where it shines, and where it comes up short. And, as always David brings some thoughtful insight into the filmmaking process, noticing some crafty budget moves made in the direction of "They Live." And, as always Nick and Stephen deliver their typical non-sense including a sandwich on a pole conversation, leading us all back to the question we asked David months ago, have you gone to The Stuffed Sandwich located in San Gabriel, CA? Also, discussions about the little people portraying the commentators, referee and ring announcer. Plus, Nick G. uses this match as a jumping off point to examine the later and current singles career transformations of 3MB members Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre, including their quests for gold, recognition, redemption and the eventual championship runs they would all receive.
