Youier!

 As we set out on this journey of exploring our inner weirdos and being the people God made us to be, I’m reminded of the work I did around human needs psychology. And specifically, for the purposes of today’s episode, the need for a great big dose of certainty. Where do we go for that certainty as people of faith? First stop – the bible. After all, these are God’s actual words for you and I. I share a few of my favourites in this episode and your “plaything” homework after listening is to find some new favourites of your own.  As we continue this exploration into you being you, letting your little weirdo out to play and being the person God made you to be, we consider the question: who does God say you are? And the lovely thing is, God knows, even when you’re not sure. We talked yesterday about asking God and this continues today because who knows? God knows! And a reminder of today’s play thing: Sit down with pen and paper and open up to God. Ask him, “Who am I? Who do you say I am?” See what comes up.
