Happy Monday! Today, I talk to a slate of Hillsboro School Board candidates that are running on values that closely match those of conservatives.
(It's important to note I gave them the individual questions in advance) Those values are (pulled from Communities for Sensible School's website):
Return students safely to the classroom now.
Empower teachers by giving them more time for core content and smaller classroom sizes.
Create more AP, Career and Technical options
Partner with parents so curriculum like CSE respects a range of cultures and communities.
I interview 3 out of the 4 candidates: Joe Everton, Mary Phelps and Monique Ward.
The 4th candidate, Ben Wolfe, couldn't attend this interview so click here to read his bio.
