  • Episode 120: Ann Carden of Expert in You with Ann Carden

We welcome Ann to share her story and answer 12 Questions in 30 Minutes

Ann has more than forty-one years of business, marketing, and sales experience with over thirty years as an entrepreneur. She has built 7 successful businesses (selling five) and is the current owner of two.

Her first business started out of financial hardship after leaving her corporate career and income to stay home and raise her kids. That first business went global (before the internet and the technology we have today) and was sold years later when she began her next small business.

Ann has been coaching/consulting for the past eleven years and has worked with several hundred small business owners, consultants, coaches, and professional entrepreneurs in over fifty different types of businesses to further their success.

We welcome Dr. Anderson to share his story and answer 12 Questions in 30 Minutes

Dr. Shaun M. Anderson is an associate professor of organizational communication at Loyola Marymount University. He is also the founder of CSR Global Consulting, LLC, which helps sports organizations build social responsibility initiatives.

Dr. Anderson's book, The Black Athlete Revolt is the first book to take a historical and contemporary look at how Black athletes have used their influence to move beyond protests and create substantial change for Black Americans. As society fights to go from protest to policy reform, the revitalization of athlete activism in recent years has sparked a new platform: The Sports Justice Movement. This book details the ascension of this movement, where it is presently, and what’s next.
