The lights are twinkling and if you are lucky you have a blanket of snow on the ground. Welcome to December! If you have young kids like we do, this month becomes a busy blurr! Christmas programs at church and at school. Christmas parties in classrooms and with various groups and clubs. Add in the usual chores around the ranch and it all piles up fast! But, as the song says, “Its the most wonderful time of the year!”

These dry and mild temperatures allowed us plenty of hours doing cattle work. We all broke away, in different directions, on black Friday. My husband followed our steers to market at the only Black Friday sale he would ever step in to. Thanks to Burwell Livestock team for marketing our steers!
