Layla Nahavandi is an Aussie preacher, writer & Bible teacher who travels the world preaching the Word of God with faith & fire. Layla has been in full-time ministry for over 15 years serving the Church in many different pastoral and preaching roles. Layla is the founder of the Burning Hearts Movement, and her ministry is marked by her passion to see hearts set on fire with a burning love for Jesus. Layla is currently completing her PhD in theology and loves playing Pickleball.

Nathan and I got a chance to talk about the apps he's created and dreaming big unattainable dreams!

Starting at an early age, Nathan Desch has had an interest in creative problem solving in a way that helps put the world back together. This has ultimately led him to starting and running several companies, being incredibly curious about unique solutions to everyday challenges people face, and stirring up the individual desires and passions in others that they may not have accessed before. Nathan lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and four kids and enjoys being outdoors, cooking, gardening, and enjoying a good cigar with a glass of bourbon on the back patio with friends.

Joey and his Wife Johanna have been missionaries and serving in pastoral/church planting ministry for the past 18 years. Joey is passionate about the gospel and discipleship, seeing it impact many across the globe. His work as a missionary, church planter, and pastoral mentor gives him a perspective that is helping the body of Christ and its leaders grow in their desire to share the hope of Christ with those in their sphere of cultural influence.

Derek and Michelle took over Lighthouse Community Fellowship in 2015 from Chris and Carol Ball. Now name Freedom Life Church we had discussions on what that transition looked like for them and what God has done since.

Derek and Michelle have faithfully served this church family for over 20 years and have been the Senior Pastors since January 2015.

Derek has a unique and captivating way of communicating the scriptures using stories, humor and practical application. Michelle has an incredible way of hosting the presence of God as she cultivates the worship culture at Freedom Life Church.

Together, the cry of their heart is that people would experience and live in the freedom that only comes from God. They also have a tremendous passion to see people walking in all that God purposes and desires for them. They have three beautiful children, Abby, Maryn, and Evan and reside in Wolcott, NY.
