    This week’s guest is Dana Middleton.

    Dana writes books for kids. Her debut, The Infinity Year of Avalon James, was nominated for the Young Hoosier Book Award and selected for Oregon’s Battle of the Books. She is also the author of Open If You Dare and The Young American’s Unofficial Guide to the Very British World of Harry Potter. 

    Her next middle-grade novel, Truth or Consequences, will be published by Chronicle Books in 2021.

  • Peter Atkins - Author and Screenwriter

    Peter Atkins is the author of the novels MORNINGSTAR, BIG THUNDER, and MOONTOWN and the screenplays HELLRAISER II, HELLRAISER III, HELLRAISER IV, and WISHMASTER. His short fiction has appeared in such anthologies as THE MUSEUM OF HORRORS, DARK DELICACIES II, HELLBOUND HEARTS, and GHOSTS, and has been selected eight times for one or more of the various “Year’s Best” anthologies. His recent book, RUMORS OF THE MARVELOUS, a collection of his short fiction, was a finalist for the British Fantasy Award. He is the co-founder with Glen Hirshberg of The Rolling Darkness Revue, an annual folly they commit at whatever theatre will have them.

    David Burke has appeared in over 50 different film and television productions, mostly playing the good-guy-turned-bad in all the CSI's as well as countless commercials.

    You would have seen David on such show as How to get away with Murder, Nashville, Notorious, NCIS: New Orleans, Castle, Grey’s Anatomy,
    Private Practice, Brothers & Sisters, The Closer, House, Chuck & The Mentalist.

    Heather is a Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League Award-nominated producer. 
    Critically acclaimed hits on Broadway include Reasons To Be Pretty by Neil LaBute (three Tony nominations including Best Play) and the musical [title of show] (Tony Nomination for Best Book of a Musical). 
    Heather also produced and co-directed the feature film Racing Colt. 
    She and writing partner Scott Damian most recently wrote A Joyous Christmas and Season for Love for Hallmark Channel. 
    She is the current Producing Artistic Director at The Colony Theatre in Burbank.

    Portraying a Jedi Knight on the stage of Tomorrowland Terrace at Disneyland, Scott Damian, leaned down to talk to a little boy named Ben who had been chosen to be in the show.

    Ben was having difficulty speaking in front of the audience because of a severe stutter.

    Scott’s eyes went wide, because years ago... that had been him.

  • Jamie Carganilla: Singer, Actress, Police Officer

    In this episode Kevin and Paul interview singer/actress Jamie Carganilla.

    She’s had quite a career that began with performing professionally at age 8 in the Broadway Tour of Les Miserables. She is a graduate from NYU as a Music Major and has performed in several shows at The Disneyland Resort.

    Jamie made an intriguing pivot in her career 10 years ago when she became a police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department!
