"Given Kate's cancer diagnosis, Harry will certainly make efforts to see his brother and Kate when he returns to the U.K. in May - if it happens at all, it's to be a very brief, carefully choreographed meeting and organized to last a short time so that the brothers can avoid any difficult conversations," royal author Tom Quinn told an outlet.
The heir to the throne must now grapple with his wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales,' cancer diagnosis in addition to his father, King Charles III's, same health battle. The future king now essentially stands alone in steadying the ship of themonarchy and must do it without the help of his estranged younger brother, Prince Harry, who lives in a mansion with ex-actress Meghan Markle, in Montecito, Calif. His stepmother, Queen Camilla, along with his aunt, Princess Anne, uncle, Prince Edward, and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, are the only senior working royals in public view "for months to come."
Meghan Markle's full royal title is Her Royal Highness The Princess Henry, Duchess of Sussex, Countess of Dumbarton, Baroness Kilkeel. "It's important to be thoughtful about it because - even with the Oprah interview, I was conscious of the fact that there are little girls that I meet, and they're just like, 'Oh my God, it's a real-life princess,'" the Duchess shared in a 2022 interview. Meghan and Prince Harry could have flourished in King Charles III's new "Carolean Era," but reportedly opted for monetized tell-alls and the fleeting unpredictability of Hollywood instead. "The whole kind of royal machine, if you like, is a team effort, and I just think it's very sad because Harry and Meghan had such potential," author Robert Hardman told an outlet. Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's often acrimonious split with the monarchy led to royal and Sussex supporter divisions, some royal analysts, such as Hardman, feel that there is a bittersweetness to theparting.
Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, thanked the public for their messages of "well wishes" pouring in after Her Royal Highness' revelation that she has cancer. The future king and queen said they were "grateful" for the support they are receiving after Kate's "heartbreaking" video dominated news headlines on Friday, March 22. A statement from Kensington Palace read: "The Prince and Princess are both enormously touched by the kind messages from people here in the U.K., across the Commonwealth, and around the world in response to Her Royal Highness' message. and "#KateGate," which was filled to the brim with "ludicrous conspiracy theories" following the princess' abdominal surgery on January 16, and an edited Mother's Day photo on March 10. "Internet sleuths are guessing that Kate's absence may be related to her husband and future King William having an affair," Colbert shared. Colbert continued: "Now, there have been rumors [of] an affair between William and the Marching Band of Chicanery since 2019," the host laughingly added while poking fun at her title.
'A Cause for Major Concern': Kate Middleton Is Having a 'Difficult' Time Recovering From January Surgery, Insider Spills
As The Royal Observer previously reported, the source's claims came after another insider suggested Kate will return to royal duties in the next two to three weeks.
The expert then shared how the couple's actions, primarily through their "incendiary" Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, and Harry's memoir, Spare, could encourage up-and-coming royals or "outsiders who seek to marry in" "may also feel emboldened to dish dirt to the press knowing there are no repercussions to fear."
Web sleuths and even professional photographers have examined thephotograph and found "numerous inconsistencies," such as Charlotte's "odd clothing patterns" and late spring/summer foliage in the background despite it being late winter.
"There is absolutely no reason for these non-working royals to carry on using their titles - not least with an entire website dedicated to telling the world that they are much, much more than mere royalty," journalist Camilla Tominey told an outlet when describing the pair's "royal hypocrisy." If royal critics were hoping to see an absence of the duo's regal styles and titles, they will be sorely disappointed as the couple's royal coat of arms issued in 2018 appears at the top of the page, along with the pair sharing: "The office of Prince Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex."
Catherine, Princess of Wales, continues to recuperate from abdominal surgery earlier this year, but both she and Prince William, are reportedly "fed up" with "#Where'sKate." "My palace contacts have communicated with the princess but haven't seen her because she is technically off-duty to recover from a massive abdominal surgery," royal and showbiz expert, Kinsey Schofield, dished. Not all analysts agree with Schofield's measured approach, and many feel that being thePrince and Princess of Wales brings with it a type of "responsibility" to be seen.
