House hack.

While house hacking isn’t a new concept, it turns your primary residence from a liability into a cash flowing asset.  Taki blends patience and fundamentals in his house hacking venture.  He goes into the criteria that he stuck to which helped him avoid overpaying, and actually getting his house below list in a hot market.  Taki also hopes to leverage technology to tokenize housing to provide affordable housing to less fortunate people.  And did we say he’s only 25 years old??

Jason recently chatted with his friend and fellow stock trader Ron Esteban.  As an educator and teacher of 20 years, he realized after speaking to other teachers that there had to be something more to building his Everyday Rich besides just relying on the golden handcuffs of a pension.  

After a fateful conversation with a banking mortgage advisor, he went down the rabbit hole of real estate investing and leveraged his expertise as a teacher to buy not 1, but 5 student rentals within 2 years.  How better to understand students' needs than by working with them everyday!  

Did we mention that, after real estate, he went down the rabbit hole of stock options trading and ultimately made LIFE CHANGING money (we’re talking WallStreetBets money)?  

Seeing his parents focus mainly on saving money versus investing it, Ron shares his deeply rooted money script story and how he ultimately flipped his own script by fully immersing himself in whatever investment strategy he felt comfortable with at the time.  

Jason also discovers and joke about a common therapeutic hobby with Ron…their obsession with lawncare.  Turns out they are both big lawncare geeks, go figure.
