A Man After God’s Own Heart: Sheltering Tree Friendships
In life’s deepest, darkest times, we all need friends on whom we can rely. David was blessed with not one, but several friends that acted as “sheltering trees” in his life during his most difficult days. We’ll examine several, as well as the Ultimate Friend upon whom we can always rely.

In the life of David, his anointing by Samuel the priest is the catalyst for everything that God did in and through him from that point forward. In this session, we examine the similarities between David’s anointing and the anointing we receive as new believers in God’s Holy Spirit and how it serves the same purpose for us as followers of Jesus.
