Living Without Regrets (Session #2)-What Works When Life Doesn’t?
Solomon, who was uniquely equipped to “experiment” with just about anything he desired; did so. He tried finding fulfillment and satisfaction in the world, in his work and in his wealth; but came up short on all three. There is a reason, and thankfully, there is also an answer to the question of, what works when life doesn’t?
Living Without Regrets (Session #1)-Life Can Be a Bummer
The wisest, richest, most successful man of his day (and possibly of all history), struggled with the same feelings of frustration, futility and boredom with life that we all face from time to time. We begin our study of his “personal journal” (The Book of Ecclesiastes) with an introductory look at what works when life doesn’t.
Scott Wolfe leads us in a discussion about the Kindgom of Heaven and this Earthly Kingdom...How they are different, what they have in common and how we can better prepare for the eternal life in the next.
Grace Is Greater (Series Recap)
No matter how you fill in the equation, grace is ALWAYS greater. We wrap up this series with a special Christmas emphasis as we remember God’s greatest gift of grace, His Son Jesus!
Grace > My Circumstances (Part 2)
How does grace enter into our lives when our circumstances seem most dire…when despair begins to attack? Even in our hardest times, God is at work, through his great and good grace, working to draw us closer to Him and make us more like His Son.
Grace > My Circumstances (Part 1)
Most of us can comprehend that grace is greater than our sin, we understand that is a core part of the Gospel. We may even be able to grasp that grace is greater than our hurts; and that we need to learn to extend grace to those who have hurt us, because of the great grace extended to us. But what about the daily grind? What about when life is hard, and we need something to strengthen us to move forward during tough times? The great news is, grace is greater than our circumstances as well…our disappointments, our weaknesses, even our despair.
Grace > My Hurts #2
Do you struggle with “letting go” of past hurts and extending true grace and forgiveness to those who have caused them? Forgiveness is not the natural response of the human spirit; but it is a necessary step for those who have received grace and wish to walk in it daily. In this session, we wrap up the examination of how grace is greater than our hurts; even the deepest ones.
Grace > My Hurts
This week, we flip the coin, from our emphasis on our RECEIVING grace, to our EXTENDING grace to others; even those that have caused hurt and pain to us. It makes grace a lot “messier”, but it is something that we are expected to do.
Grace > My Shame & Regrets
Have you ever done anything you were ashamed of…or later regretted? Who of us hasn’t! The good news is, God’s grace is greater than your shame and your regrets. We’ll look at two examples from Scripture that bear this out for us. Give a listen…good news awaits!
Grace > My Sin
We begin a new series this week, examining one of the core doctrines of our faith. Much more than a doctrinal study though, grace cannot be “explained” as much as it must be “experienced”. Join us as we take a fresh drink from the fountain of grace, and how grace is greater than our sins, our secrets and our shame.
