    DWAYNE A. MOORE, DEVOTED HUSBAND, BELOVED FATHER, SON AND FRIEND PASSED AWAY ON THURSDAY, JUNE 12, 2025 AT THE AGE OF 65 IN FAIRFIELD, CALIFORNIA.  HE WAS BORN ON SEPTEMBER 19, 1959 IN WASHINGTON, D.C. TO LEANDER AND DOREATHA MOORE.

    A PROUD WASHINGTONIAN DWAYNE GREW UP ROOTED IN THE RICH CULTURE AND STRENGTH OF HIS COMMUNITY.  AFTER GRADUATING FROM DUKE ELLINGTON SCHOOL OF THE ARTS IN 1978, HE EARNED HIS ASSOCIATE OF ARTS DEGREE FROM MONTGOMERY COLLEGE IN MARYLAND AND LATER COMPLETED HIS BACHELOR OF SCIENCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SAN FRANCISCO IN CALIFORNIA.  

    DWAYNE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR HIS LOVE FOR LAUGHTER, DISTINGUISHED TASTES AND HIS PASSION FOR SONGWRITING. 

    HE LEFT TO CHERISH HIS MEMORIES HIS WIFE TORIA WYRICK, CHILDREN KELLEN MOORE (ERIN), TORREN MOORE (NANA), STEP-CHILDREN JULIUS THOMAS, MARCUS THOMAS (VANESSA) AND TRENTON THOMAS, 7 GRANDCHILDREN AND A HOST OF RELATIVES AND FRIENDS WHO WILL CONTINUE TO HONOR HIS MEMORY, PAYING FORWARD THE RADIANCE DWAYNE SHARED SO FREELY AND UNSELFISHLY.

    June 12th, 2025 Dwayne was called home by God. Rest in Power/Peace
