Katie Casebolt is a theater maker of all types. She's an award winning makeup artist, costume designer, set painter and stagehand by day (and night), writer by night (and day). Katie has been an active member of Naked Angels Playwright groups in Chicago and New York City since 2020. Her play, Eyes on the Flag, was first selected in the New York Winterfest in November of 2022 and was later one of forty chosen to take part in Emerging Artists Theatre’s SPARK Festival in March of 2023. Also, her short Evening Etiquette has been selected at a number of festivals.

Logan is a truly talented artist, juggling writing, directing, acting and photography while being a wonderful person. I first met Logan at the Austin Film Festival in 2024, where he was promoting The Twin (now available on Shudder and Amazon Prime). I chatted with him beforehand and was immediately drawn to his vibrant energy. After watching the film, I couldn’t help but congratulate his performance. His passion for filmmaking and collaboration shines through in everything he does.

When nightmarish monsters claw their way from the ground in New York City, Frank Varis is caught in the devastation of The Breach. After falling into a coma, he awakens with mysterious new abilities - and he is certainly not alone. Recruited by a group called The Council whose goal it is to save New York, he can feel something growing inside him every day, something that pulls him further into the shadows. 

With a group of fellow recruits, Frank embarks on a journey across the city to fight back against the monsters - but as he fights through the darkness with each encounter, he begins to realize that darkness, in this new world, takes many forms.

It’s D&D set in New York during a Lovecraftian apocalypse, what's not to love.
