Sometimes life makes you laugh and cry in the same moment. From Ted Lasso to an unexpected Blow Pop incident, Iisten in as I talk about making room for our emotions, giving ourselves grace, and recognizing when we need support.
People will judge you, misunderstand you, talk about you, and sometimes decide who you are without ever truly knowing you. Their perception may belong to them, but you don't have to carry it, change yourself for it, or make it your assignment to correct it. Listen in as I speak on this
People will judge you, misunderstand you, talk about you, and sometimes decide who you are without ever truly knowing you. Their perception may belong to them, but you don't have to carry it, change yourself for it, or make it your assignment to correct it. Listen in as I discuss.
Not everyone who speaks into your life deserves the power to influence your decisions. Listen in, as I talk about discernment, considering the source, and surrounding yourself with people who will give you wisdom and truth, not simply tell you what you want to hear.
We sometimes forgive businesses, celebrities, and strangers after they demonstrate change, yet continue punishing the people we love for mistakes they made years ago. In celebration of episode 300, I am reflecting on the woman I was when this podcast began and the stronger, wiser, more vulnerable woman I am today. Our past experiences may mold us, but they do not have to keep us in a choke hold, and as long as we have breath in our lungs, we still have room to grow.
I’m 100% human, 100% of the time, and while I’m nowhere near perfect, I can look back and see the growth. Listen in as I speak about recognizing our triggers, giving ourselves credit for handling things better than we used to, and understanding that growth isn’t about never getting angry, making mistakes, or falling back...it’s about catching ourselves sooner, choosing differently, and continuing to become better than we were yesterday.
Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness leave the biggest impact. Listen in as I talk about learning to receive compliments with gratitude, give love freely, look people in the eyes, and never underestimate how much a kind word can change someone’s day.
In a world where negativity often gets the most attention, we sometimes forget how deeply a prayer, compliment, donation, smile, or simple act of kindness from a complete stranger can change someone's day or even their life. Listen in as I talk about the invisible people in our lives, the unexpected ways strangers can bless us, and why each of us has the power to be that person for someone else.

Pressure is real! Depression is taking our friends and family away from us in various ways and hate is at an all time high. How do I handle these things? Not always correctly, but eventually I…
