How is God calling you to surrender all? This means to be totally open to God's will. Although we fail we must learn our lessons daily because that is how we grow. Trust me, it will take a different effort to surrender all. Where he leads we need to follow.

There are times in our lives when we focus on what God is doing for those around us and fail to count our own blessings. However, if we just stop to look at life from God's perspective we would praise Him every hour of the day. There is a roof up above us, a good place to sleep, food on our table and shoes on our feet. We have a lot to thank God for.

Jesus Christ suffered in the flesh. As believers and followers of Christ, we will also encounter suffering(s) which we should not consider to be strange. God uses suffering to refine the believer's faith. Let us therefore try our best to rejoice and endure

because it will lead to future glory.(1Peter 4:12-13)

Wait on the Lord, be of good courage and He will strengthen your heart. You cannot go wrong if you wait on Him. Be blessed.

Jesus said let the wheat and the tares grow together until the day of harvest. The main purpose of the tare is to choke and kill the growth of the weak wheat around it. ..Do not allow the tares around you to hinder your growth in Christ Jesus.

Life is designed for hills and valleys. We all have good and bad times, ups and downs. We serve a God who remains the same in the hills and valleys of our life. He is good even when life is not. It is in the hills and valleys of life that we find our dependence on Him. He has promised that He will never leave nor forsake us.

We live in a world that is moving at an alarming pace. People rush from one activity to the next pursuing worldly gain with no time for God. However, in order to spend time in His presence we must be intentional. We must stop and find the time to do so. We are encouraged to seek Him while He may be found and to call upon him while He is near. Let us not be so busy that we miss the opportunity to spend time at His feet. "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." (James 1:2-4) As a believer, God purifies our hearts by drawing out our sinfulness. This is likened to the refining of gold. What does he use to refine us? He uses trials(hardships). This helps to make us better Christians, and the process contributes to our growth and maturity. The end of our faith is the salvation of our souls.( 1 Peter 1:9)

Blessed be the Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. (Ps. 68:19) God's mercies are renewed every morning. Great is his faithfulness.

When we acknowledge and confess our sins to God we receive his forgiveness. We serve a God whose arms are open wide when we acknowledge our wrongs and seek forgiveness. We must also be willing to forgive those who have wronged us and ask forgiveness from those we have wronged. This is the only way to have peace of conscience.
