This week on YOMP, Jon was only able to see BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY and nothing else because he was busy yurting it up in the woods, Taylor went and saw the new Steve McQueen joint WIDOWS, and Trace drove nearly 2 hours to see SUSPIRIA and divulges whether or not it was worth it. Then, get your dancing shoes on and your hair done good, because the boys have a full discussion of John Waters' HAIRSPRAY. They also reprimand Jon for playing a game on his phone while recording and he learns a valuable lesson. Next week's film is ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGANDY (2004).

The boys are back from a breif hiatus to talk about THE KINDERGARTEN TEACHER, OVERLORD, and seeing Chris Pine’s penis in OUTLAW KING. Then, in an extra special second segment, they go through every single stunt in JACKASS NUMBER TWO. Next week’s film is HAIRSPRAY (1988).

Jon and Trace are alone this week, as Taylor is off doing…something? Who knows. But 2/3rds of the gang are still here and they’re talking everything from the newest Timmy C movie BEAUTIFUL BOY, to the ghosts and spooks of the new Netflix series THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE, and they even take it to the wild west for a minute to take a look at RED DEAD REDEMPTION II. Then, the guys pack their bags, get their topographical maps out, and of course put on a good helping of bug spray to talk about their wildily different opinions on INTO THE WILD. Next week’s film is JACKASS NUMBER TWO (not a joke).

Jon reveals what went on at his coffee-cupping class, Taylor talks about living on a sailboat for a weekend, and Trace watched too many movies over the last week which Jon makes fun of him for. Then the boys get to the meat of the show and have a lengthy talk about the new HALLOWEEN. Oh yeah, they also talk about ZATHURA kinda for a little bit but mostly about HALLOWEEN. The boys try to decide what type of pizza crust is the best, as well as try to get Jon to explain whatever the hell a coffee-cupping class is, before talking about some new releases including BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE, TERRIFIED, APOSTLE, and FIRST MAN. Then the gang gets their angsty, brooding stares ready for a full discussion of Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 arthouse-commercial crossover DRIVE. Next week’s movie is going to be ZATHURA: A SPACE ADVENTURE, for some reason.

Taylor and Jon recount their experience at Austin City Limits and discuss seeing the Best Boyband Since One Direction: BROCKHAMPTON, while Trace was busy prepping to make it through a hurricane (he’s fine). But don’t worry, two of the boys made it out to see the newly released A STAR IS BORN and all three took the time to see the long-awaited VENOM movie that has finally seen the light of day.
