Welcome to another show! We took off the week of New Years due to so many people suffering from sickness, and trying to recover from Christmas! Is it not funny how so many fun things can leave you more worn out than your job! Many people talk of having to go back to work from a vacation to recover is a prime example of this! We pray that you had a blessed time with family during the holidays. We know that you will enjoy this show! We are bringing you a live church service from the Sanctuary of Nolensville. The parents of our new bass player are missionaries from Bogota Columbia. They brought a great message on how we sometimes judge who needs Jesus.  Like most things, when we look through our own eyes instead of spiritual eyes, we can get it wrong.  We want to remind people listening on their phone that the sound can overpower your phone speakers so that the sound is muffled. If you turn down your phone a little this can clear up the muffled sounds sometimes.  This was recorded from a live service on a small digital recorder so there may be some echo to the sound.  As always we open up the microphones at the end of the show so that you can ask questions or make a comment. As we are counting down to being off of work for Christmas and spending time with family, we wanted to share two insights on this holiday of Christmas.  One of these comes to you from Christians in Isreal.  The other is a search of truth organization here in the Unitied States that uses this knowledge of regional history to share their thoughts on this holiday.  We are not saying that either is right or worng, but in following the scripture that tells us it is important to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, we want to reinforce the importance of personal study of the word, and prayer in establishing a personal relationship with Jesus.  We started this show with another song from the CD that the Franklins put together and are selling for you to add to your home. Welcome everybody to another show from "Your Place".  We pray that all of you have a blessed Christmas this year. In the past we have covered the history of this holiday, to include how it was actually started as a pagen holiday. Here in this country this holiday has been celebrated as a time for family and to remember the birth of Jesus. Or as scripture tells us, "God manifested in flesh."  You have all heard me mention our friend Keith Franklin (the drummer) that I also work with.  His wife Jalana was on our show with some well known authors detailing their christian romance book that was released as a group effort last year.  From what I understand there is a new book coming out by this same group pretty soon.  The last one became a top seller quickly and they can problay share with you how you can still get that book if you havent read it yet.  You may even remember us sharing some Christmas music that their family provided to all of their friends last year that we shared on our show.  What you may not know is that this has been a three year effort that has come together this year as a complete CD that you can buy and play in your home.  This time of year they are both very busy with family and working to support their church family as well.  It is planned for both of them to provide comments about this CD.  I don't think Keith will forget to tell you that he is the drum player on this CD.  But just in case we thought we had better put that part in.  According to Keith, he is the brains behind this CD in how it was put together.  Whoops! I may have messed up because I don't think we are supposed to say that where his wife and children can hear!  The song that started our show is from this CD. So let us bring you another track and hopefully hear from the family about this song and others as this show goes on.

Thanks for being with us for another show. We are going back behind the curtin to hear some of the stories behind some of your favorite hymns. Blog Talk Mom helped us with this show as this was another week where Wild Bill got stuck out this weekend with his job.  We know that you're going to enjoy this show.

We want to aplogize for not having a show last week. Wild Bill's work schedule had him with just enough time at home to get some clean clothes and he was back out the door again. Like many of you we are still trying to get back to normal after Thanksgiving.  When Wild Bill says normal,he means where he can button his pants again! There have been so much darkness in the news of late.  We wanted to bring you a show that we felt fit this time while having fun.  Like many of you, we are all looking at what is happening in the St Louis area.  The police shooting and the riots that followed and the officer not being charged with a crime has earned national attention. The discussions that sicken us here, are the people on television and radio who did a great job of provoking the public.  We all heard reports of how this young man was shot in the back, and was still being shot after he was on the ground.  Three seperate investigations into the physical evidence were conducted. One by the family, the state, and the federal goverment all proved this was not true!  Yet, many people on the radio and television used people to put this information out as fact that it did happen.  They got paid, their ratings went up, and they have no consequence to the crimes they helped to provoke.  This should change!  We found where a couple of preachers set the stage for a fun show.  The title of putting on clothes of thankfulness.  Wow, the depth of just the title stirred us.  How many of you go out of your house without brushing your teeth, and washing your face?  Do you wear your Pj's to church?  Do you go in some dirty clothes that you pulled out of the hamper?  We hope you answered no!  Think on these things as you hear this message tonight and think of how this message should apply to your life.

We want to thank you for taking the time to be a part of this program.  Tonight we are going to bring you a sermon from a live church service at the Sanctuary of Nolensville.  This is what Wild Bill calls a foundational message that all people need to hear, and obey.  But as always we want to hear your opinion on this also.  Anybody know how many so called christian denominations that there are in just the United States?  We could not get an exact number as these vary from different sources.  But they are into the the tens of thousands!  Since most of these have more that they disagree on.  Would it not be in your best interest to do what the Bible tells us in working out our own salvation with fear and trembling?  Notice this does not say, "choose your own salvation that fits into how you want to live"!  We all like to hear of the unmerited love and favor of GOD! About HIS mercy, grace, and the fact he paid our debt of sin. But when it comes to we have to follow HIS will and to not do so is sin...we seem to read over that or justify it away!  But when we are placed in the scales and judged our life will not be weighed with the balance of our choosing!  We pray that you enjoy the show and look forward to your comments or questions.
