I do not know about you but there are people in the bible that I look at things they did and say to myself; Why did they do that? For example the children of Israel and their murmuring and complaining after being let go by the Egyptians that had used them as slave labor for years. Looking closer at this situation they were for sure in a crisis situation. First with the army chasing them. Later with the enduring the hardship of the desert. We saw how God reacted to this with them. So my question to you today is it okay for us to complain in our time of crisis?

Yesterday was Valentines Day! I hope everybody remembered those that are special to them with a sign of your affection. We all have things, people,and causes that we are passionate about. Hopefully with everybody sharing their thoughts on this topic we may all expand our views on this subject.

Blog Talk Mom and Candice are going to share with us a part of the spiritual walk that many of us do not want to look at. This show is from the view point of a person who judged the wounded spirit and how God spoke to her heart on scripture of people with the wounded spirit. It also brings back the thought process of the dangers of judging. Casey is a young woman who has endured things in her childhood that many of us could not even process happening to someone else. It seems like you cannot listen to a religious radio show, or watch one of their programs without having them ask you for an offering. You can be sure that if you go to a church service that they do not usually let you walk out the door without taking up an offering. Some people think that this is all about the preacher wanting more of your money. But it is clear in the Bible that there is not only a requirement to support your church with your finances but there is also blessings that go along with this. So do not miss our on a chance to learn how you can be blessed in your giving and be put out of favor if you do not give as directed by God.

Last week we talked about faith and looked at our we really using the faith that we have. When reading the Bible we sometimes want to think of the people as characters in a book instead of real people that part of their lives was recorded for us to read and learn from. I am still astounded at some of the old testament people that we have read about their mistakes in the scriptures but we find where they were acknowledged for their faith. You are not limited to people in the Bible but you can share your thoughts on faith using examples of people that you have known or heard about.

Here we are in 2011 and like most of you I am looking at my life for this next year. I do not know about many of you but some things that you feel you ought to know I find that I am still not getting the point. One area of this is faith and works. Some churches make it sound like all you have to do is believe and there is no action required past that on your part to be saved. Other churches make it sound like if you stump your toe and think a bad word that you are lost. I think we have to look at scriptuire and understand first who the scripture is talking to. Then we have to look at the entire circumstance that the scripture is referring to. But that is just me. I hope that we get people of faith to share their thoughts on this topic tonight.

There is enough people sharing bad news and fear to everyday. Tonight on this show we want you to share your favorite joke or funny story to put all of us into a happy thought process. Remember this is a family show and we need you to keep it clean. Other then that have fun!!
