I travel all over this great country of ours but drivers today seem to be on a mission that has nothing to do with being safe. Due to the fact I drive a truck I am aware of what is going on inside of that truck that most people who drive cars are not aware of. Truck drivers used to act more professional also. But the road rage bug seems to have bitten our professional drivers just like the other drivers. Some of this I understand. Like the other day in Texas the sign said right lane closed in 5 miles. People were jumping into the left lane to get past one more car before they lost the lane. People were actually pulling out of the correct lane to do this also. Guess what happens when both lanes get to the point where the lanes merge into only one lane. A bottle neck that stops traffic to only moving a few feet as a time. It is one thing to do this when you do not know what lane is blocked. But when the sign tells you and you still jump into the closing lane you are backing up traffic for everybody for no real reason. I have seen states that say merge now before you get to lane closure and post a trooper there to enforce it. Traffic slows only a little instead of everybody coming to a stop. When you hear people debate the bible you always hear people use a key verse to try to prove their point. John 3:16 Marks an explanation in a broad scope to what and why Jesus came to this world. But does it paint the entire picture of what you need to do to be saved? We have decided to take this debate to our show to hear what you think of this scripture and share your insights with the rest of us.

One thing about getting older is that you somehow wake up one day and realize that you have become one of the old people. For myself I do not know how this was not a slow process that I was aware of but just woke up one day to realize that I have become an old man. Now my wife will argue with me that I have not aged where it counts yet. But the one thing is getting older that we both have shared the burden to carry is the loss of people that are close to us. In looking at facebook I see that I have friends that have this same burden. To show respect and also that we have not forgotten these loved ones this show is dedicated so that people can share a event about one of these special people from their life. The great thing about blog talk radio is that you can always go back to the archived shows and share this information with friends and family for years to come.

There are several topics that people seem to keep on the front burner that does not bring things to a conclusion but it does appear to take up a lot of time. I think this may be the newest trick of satan against the church today. To me if there was ever a time to take stock of what is important and after our own salvation we should be reaching out to the lost. Bobbie Lively AKA Blog Talk Momma at 70 years of age has stepped up to the plate with a local trailer park close to where she lives. She first started this outreach from the trunk of her car. It has now moved into a trailer that is used just for the purpose of giving these young people in this trailer park a place to feel safe and to be taught about he life changing love of God. This show is to allow people a chance to hear about this outreach and hear from some of the young people and their parents who are willing to call in. I hope that you all call and listen, add your prayers, and give your insights on what you hear about this program.

This is the month of Valentines Day. Another one of those days that are designed for men to have to spend money on the women that they love. :) So we want you to share a story that you want to about the person you love. Could be how you met, or a romantic date or gesture. The choice is yours. Remember this is a family show so keep what you share clean enough that you would not mind if your mother heard you telling it.

The bible says that we are made overcomer's by the words of our testimony. Over the last couple of weeks we have discussed miracles and faith healing. How many of you like me want to be an overcomer? Then share a testimony that comes to your heart to share on this show. This could be something that has not totally come to pass but that you are standing on your faith to believe that the answer is on the way.

Last week we talked about if we believe in miracles. But I wanted to take this one step farther and ask if the miracle of healing is different then other miracles. This is a question that really bothers me and what started me looking at the definition of a righteous man or women. I have heard people say that they do not believe in name it and claim it. But I have to ask why not? Blog Talk Momma and I have been talking about the world being asleep in the dark and the church being asleep in the light. This reference is going back to the story Jesus told of the five foolish and five wise virgins. They all slept but not all were prepared. So it may not be a salvation thing to not be taking advantage of all that God has to offer. But could it be? Dr. Scheel used to tell a story about a man who saved up to take a cruse. Every night when everybody else was going to the banquet rooms to have the fine food that a cruse is known for. He would slip to his cabin and pull out his food that he had brought on board with him. Crackers, canned sardines made up the majority of his meals. On his last night on board the ship he was asked if he would join the Ship's Captain at his table for Supper. The man said that he could not afford to do so. He was shocked to have found out that all of his meals were included in the price of his ticket. I do not want to be like this man and be missing out on the things that God has freely given to us. Think about it and tell me what you think.

I know that some people believe that the time of miracles are past. Then others say that they still believe in miracles. As always the floor is open to discussion to your thoughts on this topic regarding why you think one way or the other. To me you can look at the bible and see the difference of living under law, and grace. This is when the bible divides from the old testament to the new testament. But where is there a division of the things in the new testament no longer being part of the walk of faith? The only thing I can find where there is a change is after Jesus comes back for his bride and the gift of the Holy Ghost is not longer given unto man. Am I reading this right or have I over simplified the facts. You tell me.

There are several things in the bible that we read over and over but I wonder if we really understand or forget what it is that we are reading. I am starting to look at things in my personal life and my relationship to GOD. I wonder why things happen that do not seem to make sense in my life. Like why at this time in my life do I have to work a job that keeps me away from family, church, and being a help to the ministry. If I read my bible correctly it tells us that the steps of a righteous man are ordained of God. So have I slipped off of the path of being righteous or have I forgot that we are to run the race with patience and lean on God and not our own understanding. In Law Enforcement a righteous shoot or kill was the term use to say that you have done everything right. MMMM wonder if it fits here in my spiritual life also?

The news that blog talk momma brought to our attention regarding what is happening to the church's in China is a long way away from here. Or is it? The world is watching to see if the christens here in the USA are going to get on their soap box about this open attack against the large Christian churches.
