In this episode Dr. Niesha talks about life transitions and moving forward to what is next in your life. She shares a quote.
“ In your journey, there will be “in between times” of transition. You may feel lost, confused, angry, unseen or empty. Don’t confuse these times of transition as a forever state of being or being broken. You are breaking away from what was creating space to welcome what will be” Author Unknown.
Sometimes we don’t know what the next chapter is and we don’t know how to take the next step. However Dr. Niesha encourages you to keep living and not give up hope even amidst the confusion, feeling lost, feeling scared, feeling unseen, feeling empty, being broken, and feeling unfulfilled. Don’t take a seat in self-pity and put on the coat of the victim mentality. Instead tell yourself that transitions happen in life and are normal. Moving from one place that is familiar to you to another place that is new territory and unfamiliar to you is OKAY! One thing to remember is YOU GOT THIS!
