What happens in a society when we don't "visit" each other or check in on each other as a practice? Nadhira unpacks in this solo episode, the journey of home birthing with her second baby. There's lots of unexpected twists and turns in this story. A key piece being checking back in when "your truth is calling" - what if fear and scarcity mentality get in the way of following your truth at first? Would you still do what it takes to course correct so you can get in alignment with your own truth again?
Nadhira also lays out a prescription for how to care for one another and check in on each other especially during times of change and transition - a new addition to the family, change of work situation, whatever it may be. Listen in to find out how to ask for help, building the courage to ask for what you need.
Other topics we covered in this episode:
Going through a dark night of the soul, spiritual awakening and redemption.

On my personal facebook feed, I'd shared about an experience I had, swimming with wild dolphins in Kona, Hawaii when I was 8 months pregnant with my first baby. One of my clients who read that post said to me, "You need to share more about this story!"
So I decided to record a podcast episode about how I was guided to the avenue of having a home birth with the help of an independent midwife and doula.
In this episode, Nadhira shares the power of the statement "I don't know" and being in a surrendered state when you're faced with obstacles.
How my own intuition spoke to me. What does that voice sound like? How do you discern that voice from the voice of your mind?
How guidance comes in the form of breadcrumbs - one little bit at the time. When you put the puzzle pieces together, one bit at a time, you get to see Allah swt's Generosity and how much support you have available when you have faith and trust in the process and that life is unfolding for you even if it seems like you're facing dead-ends.
We briefly touched on stress and the body vs the body being in a state of relaxation and how home births gift you the opportunity to have a lot more control over your environment.

What do you do when everything's settled, your coasting and then you feel an itch? Naina Ramnani, ICF ACC certified Purpose & Empowerment Coach discusses expat life in Dubai from the lens of "Your Truth is Calling".
Naina was born and brought up in Spain to Indian parents, studied in the UK and is now living in the UAE with her family. She started off her professional career as a stock trader, later as an entrepreneur and after a lot of deliberate and not so deliberate pauses, has found her purpose as a life coach.
We discussed expat life in Dubai - after finding a home and getting the kids settled in school, life was basically filled with moments of "living in the car", transport to and from school, kids activities, dinner, bath time, bed time. Being a busy mum in that environment looked like, "Waiting for the weekend" as everyone was busy doing things on auto pilot. We also discussed reaching forks in the road where Naina and her husband decided to close down a business they were passionate about but had to re-assess if they would continue during the pandemic. We looked at moments in her story where she had inkling and gut hit of what she might like to do with her life and decided to not pursue it. We explored those moments of "what if" , "what if I changed tracks and pursued this instead?"
Naina also shared the journey of being a carer to her late mum who passed away in the (European) Summer of 2023 and her advice to anyone finding themselves in a carer role.

Nadhira Razack, life & business coach affectionately known by her clients as a chiropractor for "life" talks about how your unique upbringing can inform what your work in the world is right now. My role is to be someone clients come to when they're facing a crisis. There's those of us who came here to set the foundations, the guiding principles for a healthy harmonious society. Then there's those of us who take those principles and build things in the 3D like schools, hospitals, community spaces.
