Born in Madrid, with Indian roots and studies carried out in England, Goldie Uttamchandani lives in Barcelona with her family and has been coaching teenagers, families and executives for more than 7 years. In April 2023 she was awarded the Global Excellence Awards, Best Life & Teen Coach 2023 (Catalonia).

Goldie is also a motivational speaker and facilitator of workshops for secondary school students in the public schools of Catalunya, which is where her journey towards coaching began in 2013. She just celebrated 10 years since the launch of her book Thoughts Translated which catapulted her journey to become a coach.

Goldie left her comfortable marketing director position to follow a passion project and follow her gut. In this episode we unpack what that journey was like, being a "closet writer" and her brother "accidentally" stumbling upon her blog on blogspot, and casually mentioning that she should consider publishing her work.

In this episode we covered the importance of language and how it shapes our identity, the stories we tell and how Goldie made a business case for her book being the basis of a workshop she had in mind for the Department of Education. We traced how truth was calling in these pivotal moments in her story and how she followed that instinctual knowing. We discussed how you can receive a vision as a seed and then give it form using your own process and how the masculine and feminine do this beautiful dance to bring projects to life.

How do you connect to your life force after you've been disconnected for a long time?

Prasanna Diana Manuela, speaker, international bestselling author of Elemental Woman shares how to reconnect to your lifeforce with the wild creativity of mother earth. She shared how life force has to keep building and then when the time is right, and the conditions are right, things start to happen and we move into action. She shares how we have to be long enough in the space of darkness to know anything. Then from darkness, we get the light, like a seedling cracking through the rocks. In between these phases, there is a stillness between the outgoing yang part of the cycle and the cycle where we go inwards again.

Prasanna also shared about the metal element or the alchemiste archetype which helps us when we need to Let Go of a cycle and go into the water element to dream again. She shares how the same energy that births babies is the same energy we use to birth ourselves anew. Prasanna ends with a special meditation to help us imagine what life might have been like for us if we were born to a woman who embodies the earth mother archetype. We are able to give this to ourselves so we can trust that life will take us exactly where we need to go.

Nadhira interviews her cousin Buraidah in this debut episode of the Your Truth is Calling Podcast.

Buraidah Razack is Co-Author of "If You Know You Know -by Jamal", a book about puberty for preteens.

Buraidah is a mental health worker and educator, creating inclusive spaces and resources for youth and families of colour from different faith backgrounds.

We discussed how he got into the work he is doing today. Buraidah didn't ever imagine becoming an author. We trace his journey to becoming a first time co-author and how he was pulled into the project. He also shares on the importance of self care and how he brings presence to everything he does.
