About the Show

Creativity is not only the catalyst and expression of purpose, but the reason we are all here. It is both the exploration of and the answer to our inner struggles, a connection point (to self and other people), a shared experience, a celebration (sometimes lamentation) of existence—it is the motivator and the source of a life lived fully. It is both a private and a social practice.

Creativity allows for sensemaking, expression, and release, for evoking and transmuting all manner of emotion. And each one of us has a Unique Genius which is expressed through our creative endeavours whether they be painting, gardening, piling wood just the right way, or rebuilding a car. It has been my life’s work to provoke the uncovering and expression of the Unique Genius of the people in my personal life and in my work. This podcast is a vehicle, a sacred space, a showcase for that message, a loving kick in the rear toward your own creative expression.

Carla Atherton, MA, is a prolific writer and developmental editor, poet, workshop facilitator, compulsive creator, Deep Wellness/Holistic Health Empowerment Coach, & Experiential Healing Program Facilitator illuminating how to move from dis-ease into Deep Wellness through her Inspired Shift Method, one-on-one & group coaching programs, professional training program, & creative work. She is a master of synthesising information, curating transformational experience, facilitating integration, & inspiring people to uncover their own unique genius--the mythology, the metaphor that is YOU.
