It’s hard to believe that we are only about 2 and a half weeks until it is Christmas. As we mark this time, Bob opens the program reminding us to not forget that we are still in the season of Advent, and why not neglecting Advent is very important.

Also on the Program, Bob welcomes Ian Anderson, the Presiding Bishop of the Reformed Anglican Church. Many regular listeners know that Bob is in ministry, but what many did not know, is that bob serves in the Reformed Anglican Church as a missionary Bishop. Bob and Ian discuss a little about what the Reformed Anglican Church is, their mission, their ministry, and their future. They also share their thoughts about the “state” of Christianity in the Western Word.

This weekend Bob starts his countdown to Christmas with memories of times past. For many people, this time of the year is NOT easy. Perhaps the loss of a loved one, bad memories, or even loneliness is making this a particularly difficult time for you. There is nothing worse than a missed opportunity. Many times we have regrets that last for many years, and have a deep and often time’s negative impact on our lives. Generally, “procrastination” is the number 1 reason we have regrets, or refusing to get out of our comfort zone. In life, we often have to make decisions, but choosing to ignore those decisions can prove devastating. This weekend Bob talks about how time once spent is gone forever, and why it’s imperative to not miss our “Hour of Visitation” on the important things in our life.

Earlier this past summer, Bob had a program entitled “The Summer of 1969 Through the Eyes of a Teenager.” Of all the programs ever produced in the near 5-year history of the program, it had (by far) the most downloads and listens on podcasts of any other episode. It’s almost hard to believe that it has been 50 years since that historic summer.

Because Bob is traveling on important ministry work this past week and this weekend, he was unable to be able to produce a program for this weekend. Because this program was so well received before, and many that listen by Radio may have missed it, here it is again.

One of the most listened to show of the past five years was on the topic of false prophets and false preachers/teachers. There is no doubt we are living in a different time and age than even 30 to 40 years ago. However, many people still fall victim to bible teachers with an end-time message that sounds fascinating but is often simply not true. In other words, “Fake Prophets Making Big Profits.” What is even more troubling, these individuals are still on radio and TV, selling their books and videos, after being WRONG in the past. Why do people let themselves be deceived?

On this weekend’s program, Bob ties together all the programs put together for the Month of October. At the beginning of the month, Bob shared his thoughts about the “religion of climate change,” and how the optics of a young girl from Sweden has captured the hearts of the media and deceived the minds of many. On the second Show of October, Bob talked about how much of what we are seeing in our culture today is nothing more than recycled ancient paganism. On last weekend’s show, Bob shared the story about his birth and adoption, and the value of life. This weekend Bob brings it home for us to understand the world in which we live today.
