The Message of the Capricorn Full Moon in Reflection

It has taken me a week to get this episode uploaded.  I had recorded it a day or so before the exact full moon, June 29th.  But,  I was plagued with tech issues.  But, in typical Capricornian fashion, I've  been determined to get it posted.  Why, might you ask?

The Capricorn/Cancer combo is described through a type of relentlessness, and a step by step process that characterizes the "cardinal" energy of these two signs.  This means that if you have a substantial amount of Capricorn and Cancer in your chart, there is a need to plan, create and build according to your desires and intentions.  Interestingly enough, I don't have any earth elements by sign, but I have  a meaningful sign placement in the 10th house, which is associated with Capricorn.

Since  we've landed on the opposite side from Sun in Cancer, right into Capricorn, we intuitively feel and perceive something is starting to happen with our projects or ideas. Ah yes, in earthy Capricorn we can now start to make plans, set goals and bring structure to what we want.  What the lunar phases offer us are life rhythms for accomplishing our desires. 

The cardinal mode in the sign of Capricorn embodies energy for beginning, taking action, and getting things launched  through concrete steps.  By the way, Cancer opposite Capricorn( when viewed as a unit can be complements to each other) is the cardinal mode, emotional, feeling and visioning/dreaming action part of this duo. 

So how does Capricorn under the rulership of the planet Saturn connect us to this life rhythm movement.  When the Moon is in Capricorn, we each receive an intuitive signal that energy for beginning, planning and taking action is much easier to use during this time frame. 

When this door, portal, or window of opportunity opens,  it’s  time to pay attention and take realistic steps toward manifesting your wishes, dreams and desires.  Capricorn Moons give us a key for planning and getting things done.  Under the  upcoming New Moon in Cancer, July 14th,  the new seeds can be planted.

It’s important to have patience with your goal, project or idea,  as you build your step by step stairway to the stars,  through balancing inner harmony with solid planning.  

Oh, yes, Capricorn plans sometimes have to and need to change directions, so don’t be surprised. Just remember, you’ll get where you are going.

During this recent  Full Moon:  What to Release

Stop avoiding the conversation you've been dreading.
See your family dynamics for what they really are.
Break emotional patterns.

Release the roles, responsibilities, and expectations that no longer reflect who you are. 

Choose emotional truth over guilt, obligation, or the need for approval.

Redefine success by creating a life that supports both your ambitions and your emotional well-being.
Break the cycles of the past and have the courage to build a different future than  the one you've carried for years.
 • Set boundaries where guilt has been making your decisions.
 • Release the role you've been playing just to keep the peace.

This Full Moon asks for emotional maturity, not emotional suppression. It invites us to release outdated definitions of success and build a life that supports not only your ambitions, but your heart.

The Message of the Capricorn Full Moon in Reflection

Reflection Ask yourself:   Where am I choosing responsibility over realness?
• What family pattern am I ready to stop repeating?
• What role have I outgrown?
• What conversation have I been avoiding?
• What story have I been telling myself—and is it still true?

Even though the Moon has moved on, the Capricorn themes of taking a measured look, preparing, while reorienting ourselves in the next months, is the message from this recent Capricorn full moon.  It has centered directly on questions of what needs to be released, let go of,  and allowed to be in the past. Capricorn is the sign that plans for the long game.  It is the sign associated with legacy. 

Other Planetary Players in Coming Weeks

At the start of the week, (July 6th)  the Sun squares Saturn, bringing a sacred pause to help us see where we've been giving away our energy for the sake of keeping the "peace".  What area of you life needs your attention, and your voice to speak truth about how you stand in the world?   Your voice is coming through the energy of Mercury currently retrograde in Cancer, the opposite from Cancer.  

Along with Mercury, there's a powerful last quarter moon in Aries  that brings us to a place of releasing what no longer aligns,  and spurs us to make the changes we know need to happen.  We also have Neptune in Aries retrograde, chipping away at the illusions, and helping us reconnect with our dreams, purpose and deepest truth.  

As you can see, this full moon in Capricorn is a powerful player in our planetary and cosmic journey.

Soon there's going to be the New Moon, July 14th, bringing us into an assessment of how we feel about emotional connections with ourselves and others.  In these turbulent times, how do you go about assuring emotional safety and well-being that every person deserves?

In the middle of the month we are going to have a unique planetary array of planets that hold numerological significance with the number 4.   This number decidedly brings into the realm of Capricorn.

Amazing Cosmic Connections

Here’s the lineup for July 18–22: Pluto at 4° Aquarius, Neptune at 4° Aries, Uranus at 4° Gemini, and Jupiter at 4° Leo. On the first day of that phenomenal five-day cosmic connection, Uranus will form an exact trine to Pluto for the first time in more than 100 years. 

Astrologers who do "predictions" are forecasting a massive technological and cultural renaissance that will permanently reshape global power, human networks and collective innovation.  My observation is that we need to listen very closely and carefully to the inner awareness and wisdom that we each possess.  All of these collective world events, are really an expression of our collective awareness. This powerful Full Moon in Sagittarius, May 31st/June 1st is really the illuminator of this “your re-storying"  your unique Dream”.  This lunar cycle presents  a dynamic opportunity to take a real look at the ideas, thoughts and experiences that came forth during the Full Moon in Scorpio that happened at the beginning of May.

This Moon offers both inner focus, and the opportunity to experience worldly experiences through connection to Cosmic Source. Guidance through trusting intuitive insights from the well of personal inspiration is the key for moving toward greater and higher vibrational consciousness.

During this lunar cycle, the awareness of growth, expansion, plenty, and abundance are under major consideration.  Even as we look out into the collective society, it’s absolutely critical to dream one’s own big dreams. 

What thoughts and dreams have been moving back and forward through your mind during this time?  The notable aspect of this lunar cycle emphasizes  concepts of greater self  expansion, exploration, new perspective through inner awareness and spiritual renewal.

With this Full Moon, Jupiter  the planet of expansion, is having a conversation   somewhere in your “Star Map”.  Sagittarius is the sign of fiery and inspired direction. 

This sign brings a feeling of joy and adventure when you choose confidence, courage, and deep self-belief.  Taking the chance to step out, and “Lucky” Jupiter will pave your way.

During this Full Moon you are gaining an energetic boost, and  being called upon to take action on something you’ve dreamed about during the Sun in Gemini idea generating stage.  

With this  Full Moon as it illuminates the pathway.   Jupiter is calling for expansion in a particular area of your life, so it is time to activate and actualize those dreams.  Interestingly enough, this Moon really supports forward motion.  Sagittarius is not a sign for looking back into the past.  In some ways, this sign embodies the "Fool" card in the Tarot.  The character in the card is definitely looking ahead, and standing ready to see what's over the horizon and next mountain.

With Sagittarius energy, you have deep support to step fully into taking your vision, intention, desire or dream. What’s most important thing is to belief in what you are choosing, which will offer the momentum for moving forward in your life.  

So, here it is Full Moon in Sagittarius, and all the planetary players are whispering that it’s time for things to change  The combination of the Moon and Jupiter is release with the lunar cycle of the full moon,  and expansion through Jupiter signaling change and a focused on forward motion.

I want to give recognition to the powerful supportive energies of Neptune and Saturn both being in the sign of Aries. The fiery energy of the other elemental fire sign is giving this rare "Blue Moon" added impetus. The air elemental of Gemini is important in providing a way for the ideas to be dispersed into the personal and collective consciousness. If you reflect on these signs (air, Gemini idea, with fire action of moving forward with Sagittarius), there is a completeness in understanding how thoughts become "things".

So it’s time to not only dream, the question is, how will your dream become reality and move your life in the direction you really want to go?

This New Moon in Taurus,  "Soul Worth is Your Core Essence".  This earth elemental  provides a grounding and steadying energy in the life creation process. It is where the “stick-to-it attitude can be seen. This zodiac sign embodies the concepts, ideas and values of creating and building something of worth with lasting value. 

Taurus is the focal point for bringing ideas into form.  Taurus is the complement to Scorpio, even while referred to as it's opposite sign in astrology discussions.  The basic relationship is that the 2nd house associated with Taurus, is where you begin to recognize your own valued self-possessed resources.  Scorpio, 8th house is how we exchange with others our valued resources, and they with us.  (See previous episode, "Full Moon in Scorpio). 

One of the key aspects of Taurus is its association with manifestation of physical possessions, and the flow of money as a measure of resources, usable talents, abilities, and skills for exchange. 

This is the time to reflect on creating both inner and outer heart-centered connections, which offer experiences of personal truth.  Instead of setting intentions from a place of being “not enough or good enough”now is the time to embrace your “Whole Self and Soul Worthiness”.

Taurus is the opportunity to express deepest appreciation for being able to live life from Soul awareness. Living in the “Soul Worthiness” way is claiming the ability to be a creator with the Universal Source.  

This New Moon in Taurus is an invitation to reshape your mind to create a meaningful, passionate life that will stand the test of time.

 The Taurus archetype is the awareness of the “spark” animating the physical body.   “I Manifest” principle. The Taurus energy is the nourishing of being through self worth.

This New Moon in Taurus brings us into a profound awareness of being a part of Nature.  Of the three Earth signs, Capricorn and Virgo, Taurus brings us into relationship with our physicality.  Every person possesses a unique emanation and energetic life frequency.  When a person actually listens to one's body in cooperation with mind and heart, this comes together as a unique type of intelligence. 

How do we access our unique personal body intelligence and inner wisdom? 

Our bodies literally speak to us through the feeling states.  For example,  you get up in the morning and you notice the birdsong, and interestingly, listening to the birds feels calming to you. In fact, you notice your whole body feels rather relaxed. 

On the other hand, you are walking along on a city street, there are lots people whizzing by, as well as the sounds of heavy machinery drilling, earth moving machines rumbling, and diesel fuel smells are in the air.   Notice how your body sends you signals which are much different from the  relaxation of the birdsong.

The sign of Taurus provide us with greater understanding of how our magnificent bodies serve as our central "anchoring" point.  The more we observe, listen and feel our own body-wise connection the more we can live greater heart-centered and Soul led lives.  In essence, we need body/mind/spirit awareness.  

During this lunar cycle, the Taurus energy is providing an energetic framework for understanding how to ground and regulate our nervous systems, through tuning into the Earth's frequency.  Currently, on a daily basis millions of people are voicing their feelings about emotional, bodily, mental unrest and psycho-spiritual disconnection.

Taurus is a feminine and  fixed earth sign. Sound alchemy,  your voice is deeply associated with the sign of Taurus.  Singing, chanting, toning, humming, any sonic activity has a grounding effect, which helps to regulate the nervous system. Dancing, gardening, drumming and movement put us in alignment with our home planet, Earth.

This sign represents the ability to create, produce and bring an idea into fruition.  In our astrological map, it’s the area of life where a person will persist and eventually achieve success, as a result of embracing one’s physical body wisdom, sensual and tactile connection. Even as I recorded this episode, I received a lesson from this Scorpio Full Moon.  One of the things I've been confronted with is "perfectionism".  Somewhere around the 31 minute mark, my voice became cloudy.  I had to stop and drink a bit of water.  You will hear this pause.  Other times I would have stopped and started the recording process all over again.  But I decided  it is time to meet this fear and unrealistic expectation that has plagued my life.

The experience that's helping me  to release this false expectation is playing music.  This activity provides many instances of notes, rhythms, or memory lapses going sideways.  So this lunar cycle, with the Scorpio connection is to release something that has undermined my creativity and peace of mind.

Where in your life do you need to release, let go, and forgive something does not serve your well-being?

Scorpio reveals a multi-faceted perspective as an emotionally intense and exacting sign. On one hand it’s concerned with mundane things such as taxes, inheritances, other people’s money and accumulated debt.

On the occult and psychic level, it brings understanding and awareness that the material concerns mentioned  above, are really very impermanent and are  always changing.  So this Full in Scorpio, is the absolute perfect opportunity to take a look at what we keep telling ourselves about our lives.  How do you face the hidden aspects of yourself that actually hold great value?  Where is Scorpio located in your astrology chart?  What house or houses reveal what needs to be part  of a deep inner journey?  What’s really important is that no one else can tell us about those hidden & secret parts of ourselves.  

How  do those hidden patterns show up in outer expression (body or relationships)?  Do you keep telling the same old money, health, relationship, poverty, or blaming something or someone about what is going on in your life story?  Scorpio is the sign of being 100 %.  It basically speaks to us of being all in life, or out of it.  

Yes, Scorpio appears and is “heavy duty”, but there’s something very wonderful.  Scorpio gives us gifts of laughter, humor, joy and deep wisdom.  So go ahead and let go of things which need to be "gone right now".

On a personal level, this New Moon in Aries is echoing the idea of learning to “take back control of your own life”. Over the next 12 months, it becomes a time for listening from the heart, and being willing to give and receive support from others.

Astrology Chart Quest- What Zodiac House is now Open to begin this 12 month cycle?   In this episode, I talk about identifying the house cusp and placement of Aries as the starting point for guidance and direction over the next 12 months.  

Since the New Moon in Aries is really a “double new beginning”, think about  the coming month and what is ahead. 

Inside the Astrology Blueprint

As you pinpoint your Aries placement, as well as where Mars resides, this information can provide you with a starting, and activation for something new in your life. This is the house zone or realm, where you will start creating your 12 month plan. 

For example, perhaps Aries is on the cusp of the  2nd house of inner resources(talents, abilities, gifts, etc.) this is also the house of material, financial and worldly resources. Since we are looking at the 2nd house, notice that Libra is directly across from Aries on the cusp of the 8th house.  Signs coordinate in pairs. Interestingly enough, the zodiac guidance and rulership for the 2nd house is Libra, a "clue".

Creating a 12 Month Plan is a wonderful way to use this New Moon Aries as an activation point.  Another consideration is to notice which sign is positioned on the cusp of your 1st house, because it is associated with the sign of Aries.  As a cardinal house, meaning that this is an ignition and initiation point in your chart.    It is the "spark" that connects with newness of the spring season.  

 It is ironic that "spring cleaning" appears to be an innate drive, where we want to make changes during the Spring.  Ideas for new beginnings:

• Create a list of all your abilities, skills, talents and everything that lights up your life.
• Step into what you really love doing.
• Recognizing the importance of being “body/mind/heart-wise”, physical outlets are a key element for this fiery Mars ruled sign. 
• Clear living- environmental space.
• Do a physical, emotional and spiritual realignment.
• Verbally repeat to yourself that you're getting rid of the old and welcoming in the new.

Dearest Listeners,

This episode is a bit lengthy, but well worth your time, if I must say so myself.  I just realized that I'm going to begin calling my approach to astrology "Soul Speak" astrology.  As with each episode, I review them before they reach your ears.  Yes, there have been a few times when I've had to redo a recording.

In this episode, I can sense an urgency which I am entitling "The Aquarian Calling".  While listening to what I'm sharing with you, I hear my "Inner Wise" self asking me what am I willing to change in my life? 

 In all honesty and with transparency,  I'm starting with doing greater promotion of the content I am producing each month. Because this Solar Eclipse is sitting at the top of my chart, on my Midheaven, I'm in essence receiving a message that it's time to step up, and answer my "Aquarian Calling and Go Far".

I'm encouraging you to listen,  turn and embrace your "Genius Zone" and set your intention on something that is uniquely yours.   Why is this important?  If each of us fully, truthfully and courageously embraces something uniquely of self, this is where things around us will begin to change.  Collectively and personally this new beginning starts with fully believing in the vision of our worthiness.  

Don't be fooled by the ignorant depictions, images, name-calling and all the other mean spirited nonsense.  It's of utmost importance to understand who is in a prison of fear and bondage.  Freedom is a deep self awareness of yourself.  Keep knowing no can give you freedom, it is yours by divine right.  Remember the late great Nelson Mandela was kept in a prison for 27 years, but all that time he was free inside of himself.  Finally, the outer reality matched with what he always understood, he was free. 

This is the Aquarian superpower, the ability to own and bring truth, freedom and revolution into reality.  Aquarius is also the sign of standing with other people to initiate change by holding a collective vision that wants everyone to have their life valued, respected, honored and celebrated.  

Be a rebel in that "Genius Zone" area of your life, and you will be enough, and you will "Go Far". This Solar Eclipse offers the potential to start a whole new chapter in your life.  We each have a unique story.  You are the only person who knows what your story is all about.
